First of all, as a movie adapted from a novel, it didn't work well because of poor casting at the leading role Masud Rana. He doesn't look like the character as well as he doesn't act like him at all. ABM Sumon (MR 9) acts like an expressionless android. Besides that, the storyline is not so engaging and the direction is very poor. I am not sure if it is the first movie of the director Asif Akbor or not. The visuals are not so good as well specially the part where blood was spitting out after taking a shot. It felt like the blood was vapor out in the air. Finally, the main torture was the horrible sound design. It felt like a real torture with too much loud sound and illogical sound placement. Overall, the movie was below average with poor direction, artificial acting and intolerable sound mixing.

Needless to say Excellent CGI and visual effects. It was so realistic even with the poor 3D glass in theater. But, the movie was so lengthy and in some moments, it felt sleepy.
The main problem in the story was it was not so engaging like the first one. The whole movie seemed about a documentary and lifestyle of Pandora animals in Geography Channel. The beauty of Pandora, struggle and survival instinct of the people all was their but couldn't collaborated properly. Some part of the movie felt unnecessarily long. It was so pathetic to see the selfish nature of Jake for his family. The final 30-40 minutes was so good but one sequence felt like Mr. Cameron's remake of Titanic.
Overall, it was mostly good for the visuals with a flawed storyline.

Usually there isn't much good Bengali movies nowadays. Damal could be such wonderful experience if the director would do justice with it.
First of all. Siam Ahmed should learn acting. He's an over hyped actor who can't act but thinks himself as Leonardo Di Caprio. His overacting in this film was so irritating to watch. In addition to that, his makeup was not so 70's type. His hairstyle, looks, costumes everything was too much modernistic.
On the other hand, Shariful Raaz was top notch in everything. From his makeup to his acting, everything was on board. But, his screen time was less than Siam, which was so unjustified.
Meem was ok, but sometimes her look was so bright, which was not so mergeable with 1971.
Intekhab Dinar's prosthetic was so bad to look as it seemed his skin burnt down at old age.
Other actors were as far as good in their role. But, the romantic storyline of Siam and Sumi's character was unnecessary in my opinion.
The song 'Mon Posh Manena' was not so necessary in that suspensive situation of war. It decreased the tension of war so badly that the viewers forgot that it's a movie on !971 War of bangladesh.
In the Title track, director merged present football team with Shadhin Bangla football team. It was ok, if there wasn't 2 heroines in that song as they were not football players. It appears that the heroines were used as item girls in that song which was so cheap.
The CGI viewers in football gallery was a item of copy pasting which was clearly visible and similar footage of cheerful viewers in gallery used several times. Where it was easy to use different footages.
Overall, it's an overdone film and the film didn't touch the heart at all. After finishing the film, it's confusing to think what should I feel about the movie. Should I sympathize by thinking about the sacrifice and brutality of 1971 or should I feel so glad and dance with the football players for their great achievement.

A horrible story with 2 actors. too much rushed. 1st half was better, but 2nd half of the film blunder the whole story. Too much background music makes the film cheaper. Don't know why, but it seems at final sequence that the villain and the hero both are close friends, which director and writer both failed to execute to the viewers at the end of film. Overall, it's a pretty much apprentice type project which could be much better.

Is this called now a days a comedy movie?? Luckily didn't try to watch it in theater and my head really started to burn after watching 15 minutes. Why one person needs to portray different roles with bad voices, I can't understand.... I wish there was an option to give it a minus rating....

The movie is mostly about "Disguise as You Like" The mistresses are gone when they are mostly needed and they give their command as gift!!!!!!!!!!!! What an awesome way of helping!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Shot where Charles Wallace touches the face of Large Ms Which, it was really awful to watch.... And the direction is so poor and the script was so ridiculous that they had to write same dialogue like "Run Faster" again and again at a sequence.... I wish I could unseen it..... Fully disappointing.....

After 4 years, I've gained much courage to see this film and after watching I realized I should skip it for good. There's nothing interesting except the transitions of Gods. The story was purely non-sense and it just flew over my head... CGI was also poor on some shots. Totally a waste of time....

Terrible in every ways.... Terrible storyline, terrible acting and finally terrible animation.. Action sequence animation was totally freaking bad. The direction was too much bad that it hurt to see Keanu reeves by such bad acting. Couldn't feel depth at any scenes. It just went over the head. If I could, I'd give this movie a minus rating.... But, feeling so much lucky that I haven't waste my time and money to watch this movie at Cineplex....

After Wonder Woman, something really good has come from DC. It was really necessary for their come back. A truely exceptional and fantastic visual of the world under water. Some CGI shots were a little bit cracked, but the whole was fabulous. The movie was too long, but it didn't feel boring for a moment. Each and every shots were enjoyable with a strong story built up. Aquaman is the true king of DC.....

What an awful movie with a lot of cameras in house.... At first it seemed that the camera man of the production is the main culprit here to plant cameras, but then appeared the drone... And the killers appear with kind of Michael Meyer mask, which is a real drawback of the movie. I don't know what's wrong with today's people, they sneak into someone's house to put cameras and kill them rather than stealing valuable goods when there are a lot of things to steal... What a stupidity....

What a tremendous plot.... Finally, it's all about the box. The room was just the place... A hell of wastage of time (as I've seen it at pc). But, I'm glad that I just forwarded it and saw the 86 minutes movie within 40 minutes. The acting was terrible too... Please Hollywood, stop making this type of Garbage....

A film, when it's from a popular novel, should follow the proper genre. According to my opinion, the novel is a psychological thriller with mystery in it. But, the film totally gives us the wrong direction about its genre. After watching it, it seemed that it's a horror film with a lot of paranormal activities in it, which is conceptually totally wrong.
Now come to the point of acting.... Ranu (portrait by Jaya Ahsan) was look like she was addicted, not mentally unstable because of too much over acting. Her body language was improper too in some sequences. Misir Ali (Chanchal Chowdhury) was pretty much ok; but couldn't find the depth in his character because of some additional sequences of him which wasn't in the book. As a result, Misir Ali character has been downgraded to show him as a funny character. Ahmed Sabet (Iresh Jaker) should be romantic as well as psychic according to novel, where his romantic part was totally absent. Only the psychic part was ok (At least he looks like that maybe). Anis (Animesh Aich) was ok, but too much nervous all time. Only Nilu (Shabnam Faria) has done the proper judgement to her character.
Now come to the part of story... Director hasn't followed story properly. Some important parts of the story has totally been ignored. The opening of the story should be like the original novel, as it shows us the mental illness of Ranu, but it was totally been ignored. The relation between Misir Ali and Nilu is totally absent at the film. There is an important part at the novel where Misir Ali tests ESP of Nilu and her friends, where they fail first time and after that Nilu again comes to Misir Ali to test her ESP; this part is totally missing. The final death sequence of Ahmed Sabet is the lamest part of the film. At least filmmaker should read the second part of the book (Nishithini) to know how Ahmed Sabet was reported as dead. I couldn't find the urge of meeting Nilu with Ahmed Sabet proper. Why a modern woman will meet a person who has a fake FB profile only by knowing his mother's name was Nilu, I don't know.... So lame... Again, the changes of ghost sequences were too much unnecessary.... Why they had to show two teenage girl ghosts rather than one female ghost, I don't know....
At last I have to say, it was much difficult to accept this poular novel as one of the lamest films I've ever seen because of poor direction and unnecessary horrors.... A total disrespect to HUMAYUN Sir and his creation.....

Nothing much to say about the film, it was totally reckless from every angle. Story wasn't so great, cinematography was too much shaky, no proper music at any sequence.... Just a movie for wasting money and passing the time if u have no work.... And everyone in the hall (there were only 20-25 among 300) wanted to slap Danny..... One of the worst movies of the year.... Stars only for Dave Bautista...
