My Reincarnation (2011)
The pressures of Reincarnation
Honestly, I enjoyed this documentary! Very unique theme. Homemade aesthetic. I liked the way makes you inquire along the time with the same characters, intercalating past with anticipated time, and at the same time revealing the transience nature of opinions, beliefs, body and all life itself.
This is a movie for those who are interested in Buddhism philosophy and as lifestyle. Then it will make you think about all the subjects that the film exposes through spontaneous life captured and his creatures too. The conversations within son and father are somewhat magical.
Definitely, Jennifer Fox successfully manages to challenge our constricted ideas about Buddhist teachers. His camera takes us to an a remote Italian family of little convention that have some particular dilemmas of profound and weight emotional demands, particularly for the Reincarnated one.
The trip is worth traveling. That family is unique, like each one of the earth. The ocean of Samsara is something we're in for the first moment we become aware we have a father, mother and family. And in that ocean we jump in everyday, in the left, in the right, above and below.
