This was a great movie, tons of suspense and build up, even some back story for Emily and her mother but not too much so you can focus on the main story. It's obvious that Lilith is of course the first demon Lilith as seen in the Bible. But according to well anything written about her she's extremely powerful and I find it hard to believe that drowning her is what stops her. There is no cliffhanger or post credit scene showing she's alive and well and with another family.

Apparently that was the original ending and test audiences didn't like it. Movies don't always have to have a cookie cutter ending and this one shouldn't have had one. The entire movie was fantastic before those last few minutes. It's hard to rate this because yes the ending was terrible but everything else was great-despite no research as to what Lilith might be.

If it was that easy to kill Lucifer's first demon the Winchesters wouldn't have had a show lol. I wanted to give it 5 stars but I just couldn't since only the last few minutes were bad.

Where to begin? There are about 3 or 4 plots going on and none of them are any good. The beginning was actually somewhat interesting but kept showing shots fishermen chunking the water and either trying to catch big fish or a shark. Spoiler they die. Another spoiler/annoyance is that they keep using great white sharks. You see a Mako once during the fishing scene alongside a great white. Mako's travel all over the oceans typically staying in warm waters where great whites typically stay in colder waters and are rarely spotted in the Red Sea. On top of all that Makos don't attack or kill humans despite being aggressive. 9 total deaths have been recorded since practically ancient times (ok not that long ago but like 1500s according to google).

The biggest offensive to not knowing ANYTHING about sharks? About 50 some minutes in they show a shark attempt to attack Graham but couldn't get far being in the window of a ship. It doesn't get her and she swims away. Somehow in the next shot the shark backs out and is swimming free. What's wrong with this? SHARKS CANT SWIM BACKWARDS!!!! You can even see one not swim backwards in The Little Mermaid when Ariel traps it lol.

Those are just the facts that they already got wrong that p*** me off. If you love sharks and shark related movies don't watch this awful movie. If you love movies with several dramatic unnecessary plot points with a shark thrown in the mix for no reason then you'll love this train wreck.

I also intentionally wanted to watch a foreign movie with subtitles and for literally no reason they switch to speaking in English-I'm not talking about the award show or a word here and there. They legitimately start speaking English for no reason and with no explanation.

These actors as divers are not believable, all of their panicking would've made them use up their air much faster. Apparently they're also "trapped" in this boat, not sure how with broken windows all around them. They have the two brothers dependent on each other but then suddenly the one says you have to find your own way out bye. What kind of awful dialogue is that? Nobody even those scared, would ever say that especially to their own brother. And really how does that help your crew by telling someone they each have to find a way out.

We don't even find out what happened when they got back on the ship with the 5th or so side story. All of this was just awful.

I've always wondered what my mom would really do if I killed someone. She said she'd help me cover it up and bury the body not turn me in.

Which is exactly what should've happened here. If they had been sensible parents looking at their daughter like a psycho they would've found out she was pranking everyone. That twist was kind of annoying.

I did like Joey King flying off the handle all the time. Despite what some viewers have said about it. Just because your teens don't do that doesn't mean all teens are well adjusted lol. I found her performance not only believable but also showing signs of a potential psycho in the making. It makes you think she might've been killing small animals as a child.

And the whole premise of you guys don't pay attention to me fits in with her erratic and out of control behavior. Parents can be real a-holes and selfish when it comes to divorce and don't actually pay enough attention. Thankfully my mom did so I didn't pretend to kill my friends for attention lol.

The whole thing was a messed up parent trap. Moral of the story turn your kids in when they break the law. Who knows maybe they're just trying to prank you lol.

I wish I could give this movie zero stars. I knew it wasn't Eli Roth's movie but they could've tried a little. Every single thing is so predictable and all over a girl really? Such a weak storyline, I'm gonna kill you so I can have your fiancé. Because of course women are weak and would go right to the playboy when her fiancé is killed-please spare me. I hope they lost so much money on this trash that sequels in the future are put through a rigorous process to be made so we don't waste our time and money. Honestly I wish all the characters had died in the end.
