Jugeoya Saneun Namja (2017)
Horrible, disrespectful show
I cannot express my dissapointment with this drama enough, It is full of insults, disrespect towards Muslims, and culture of people. I am normally a fan of kdramas but this drama really upset me. It revolves around orientalist ideals of the west but in a kdrama version. I felt like almost they took a part from alaaddin or something which has a lot of orientalist ideas and put it in this drama in a very bad way. You can check what orientalism is by checking through Edward Said works btw. I really try to have open mind when i watch dramas but this one was just horrible and completely disrespectful.

A Thriller Without Thrills - A Plotless Abyss
If I could give this movie zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, one star is the lowest rating allowed, and it's still too generous for this cinematic disaster. I can't emphasize enough how profoundly disappointing and excruciatingly awful this film was. It's not just bad; it's a prime example of how not to make a thriller.
From the very opening scene, it was evident that I was in for a suspenseless ordeal. The plot, or lack thereof, was the primary culprit in turning what should have been a gripping thriller into a tedious ordeal. It's as if the writers had tossed out any notion of suspense and opted for a random sequence of events that left the audience with no tension, no excitement, and no connection to the story.
In a thriller, the plot should be the driving force that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It should be a carefully constructed web of twists and turns that leave you guessing. In this movie, the plot was a tangled mess of confusion and incoherence. There was no thread to follow, no breadcrumb trail of clues to engage the viewer. It was a plotless abyss, and the absence of a compelling narrative made the entire experience feel empty.
The dialogue was equally abysmal. Characters engaged in painfully forced conversations that did nothing to build tension or intrigue. The attempts at building suspense through dialogue fell flat, and any emotional depth they tried to convey was as shallow as a puddle in a drought. It was evident that the scriptwriters had no idea how to create the kind of sharp, engaging dialogue that is a hallmark of great thrillers.
The lack of a coherent plot made the performances even more excruciating to endure. The actors struggled to bring life to characters who were lost in a sea of confusion. In a well-crafted thriller, the performances should enhance the tension, but in this movie, they were hampered by a plot that provided no direction or purpose.
Thrillers often rely on the skillful use of special effects to heighten suspense and excitement. However, in this film, the special effects were a disaster in their own right. The CGI was poorly executed, and the action sequences were so over-the-top that they bordered on the absurd. It was clear that the filmmakers had no understanding of how to use effects to create a sense of tension or build anticipation.
The soundtrack, typically a critical element in a thriller, was equally forgettable. Instead of enhancing the suspense, it served as a constant reminder of the film's overall mediocrity. I couldn't recall a single memorable tune or any music that added depth or intensity to the scenes. It was as though the composer had taken the path of least resistance, mirroring the lack of effort evident throughout the film.
But the most infuriating aspect of this movie was its blatant disregard for logic and common sense, which is essential in a thriller. Characters made decisions that were so nonsensical that I found myself shaking my head in disbelief. The film demanded not just a suspension of disbelief but a complete abandonment of reason, and it left me unable to invest in the unfolding events.
The climax, or whatever they attempted to pass off as one, was a chaotic mess that left me more bewildered than ever. It was impossible to determine what the ultimate resolution was, as it was executed with the subtlety of a sledgehammer. Loose ends dangled, and any attempt at a satisfying conclusion fell flat.
In conclusion, this movie was a thriller without thrills, a plotless abyss that failed to deliver the suspense and excitement that the genre demands. The incomprehensible plot, cringe-worthy dialogue, shoddy effects, forgettable music, and complete disregard for logic make this film a contender for the worst thriller ever made. Save yourself the agony and steer clear of this cinematic catastrophe.

Horrible show, very disappointed!
I normally enjoy good action and thriller dramas but I cannot believe how disappointing and bad this show is. I would say save yourself and don't waste your time watching this bad and horrible show! I cannot believe the disappointed I had about this series, especially for someone who really like action packed thriller series. I would give minus points but you cannot give minus points. If you really like action and thriller show I would say go and look for different series, there are way better and engaging thriller shows. Also, lastly, when going undercover in the show you should also show good action and engagement. However, I really did not like this series.
