Stray (2015)
Silly, but not horrible.
There are only 71 rates on here, so you know there are a lot of fake reviews bumping it up. It has a very low budget feel. The acting wasn't great, but not terrible either. With better directing and production value, it would've hidden many of the actors shortcomings. The story was slow and hard to take seriously. Not the worst I've seen, but I wouldn't recommend it.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019)
It was good, but....
It was a nice close to the Jesse story. It was good to see what I pictured in my mind all these years, but some things didn't make sense. 1. The police were tracking Todd's stolen El Camino, but how did they know it was gone? There was nothing or no one telling them that the car was ever even there. Plus, it was pretty convenient that they started tracking it RIGHT when Joe was checking for trackers. 2. Never in a million years would Todd say
the words, "Don't make me feel worse than I already do." 3. The wild west "draw" scene was just plain stupid. Jesse didn't know that Neil had the .45 until he showed him. Neil could've said, "Fine, $1,800...not a penny more" then pulled his gun when he got close to Jesse. Draw and winner takes all?...just dumb. It just didn't feel like Breaking Bad caliber writing. I would still recommend it, it just let me down a little.
60 Days In (2016)
Entertaining...but fake as hell.
If you want to find out what the inmates are up to, why would you bring in a fake documentary crew and put cameras in everyone's faces? If they want to know what's really going on, why can't they just watch their 8,000 cameras, including cameras in the cells? Why are these fake prisoners even needed? Ridiculous and fake.
Black Mirror: Smithereens (2019)
Amazing episode
This episode was a little different because there was no science fiction element to it, but maybe what's going on right now is just as creepy and thought provoking as science fiction could ever be.
Between Worlds (2018)
Bad...even for a Nicolas Cage movie
After spending an hour and a half watching this movie, I've come to the conclusion that the only person who should've been choked is Maria Pulera.
The Orville: A Happy Refrain (2019)
Great Episode
Started off a little weird, but by the end everything fell into place and it was amazing.
The Orville: Nothing Left on Earth Excepting Fishes (2019)
Best episode yet.
A truly dramatic and heart warming episode. It has a twist that you won't see coming, and it will leave you with a smile...and possibly a tear. By far, my favorite episode so far.
Acts of Vengeance (2017)
Missed the mark
I think with a few tweaks, this could've been a decent movie. There was way too much cheese and too many unrealistic scenes. The plot was overdone and predictable, but could've been saved with better writing.
