From (2022)
One of the best of the genre
I'm genuinly surprised that I haven't heard of this series before because I love this genre. It gives serious Lost vibes and I'm here for it. I finished the first season in 1 day. I was literally watching it at office in secret. Now I'm about to finish the second season and I don't know how I will wait for the 3rd. Even though the theme and subject is not much original, I could not put it down. The mystery element is kept alive in every single episode. While I have some theories, I'm sure I will be surprised at the end. I'm hoping we won't have a bad ending like Lost. Fingers crossed. To sum it up, I recommend this to everyone who loves mystery and survival type series. I should warn that there are some scenes that may be triggering but all in all a really good series with a lot of promise. The only negative side for me is so far I couldn't connect with some of the characters. Again if I had to compare it with Lost, in that show we got to know the characters much deeper and built a relationship with them. But, considering Lost had more than 20 episodes per season and From only has 10, I think its normal to learn less about them. I think it will change in the future though.
The White Queen (2013)
Enjoyable and interesting
I'm not an english person therefor i don't know much about their history so i'm not sure how accurate this series is but i really enjoyed it. It made me like this period in history and research about it. Actings were really good as well. I think this is a good series for people who likes history.
What We Do in the Shadows (2014)
One of my favorite comedies!
It's very smart, different, hilarious. A very original idea in a world full of vampires who are 'cool', 'handsome', 'dangerous' etc. This movie is so brilliant that it makes you laugh at these goofy vampires but also somehow relate to them. I will never get tired of watching this movie! I recommend this to people who likes different, original comedies.
Daniel Sloss: Live Shows (2018)
Wow! Amazing comedy, smart and hilarious
I enjoyed it very much! It was really funny and emotional at the same time. Daniel Sloss is really talented, not only in comedy but also in understanding life, pain, relationships etc. I especially enjoyed 'Dark' and watched it so many times. His understanding of comedy is dark, that's for sure, but the way he forms his jokes makes him more relatable, i think. I recommend this to anyone who is not too sensitive. Thank you Daniel Sloss for making me laugh so much!!
Raising Hope (2010)
Great comedy
I really enjoyed watching this sitcom. It was sweat, funny, emotional. I loved the relationship between Burt and Virginia. Definitely an underrated sitcom.
