This show isn't bad, but it's not as good as what it's trying to recreate. They Should have just brought back Brickleberry. Paradise PD is just a less funny version of that.

Best training video out there
2 December 2021
Had to watch as part of IT training at work. I wish all training videos were this good. If I ever leave my current company, I will find these online just to see how it ends.

Better than expected

Warning: Spoilers
The fight scenes were good, especially the bus scene. Could have done without the flying dragon at the end. Other than that, I enjoyed the movie overall.

Worth a watch, just hope they don't cancel this like they did Hoops. Netflix is a little light on the adult animation, and this is a step in the right direction.

It's like The Simpsons and Futurama had a baby
27 October 2021
It's like when two models have a baby, and that kid ends up being a super model. They have their mothers eyes and their dads chin. When you look at them you can tell it's their kid. This shows genes were so good, it was bound to be great.

So far so good
17 October 2021
Only have seen the first 3 episodes but I have enjoyed it so far. Good balance of personalities with all the ghosts to keep the story interesting. I can see this being good for at least 3-4 seasons with the formula they have.

Hit or Miss
10 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Some episodes were hit or miss. Donnell Rawlings and Boby Lee- hit, Ms. Pat and Kaley Cuoco- a cringe miss. The best part of the Ms. Pat episode was seeing how uncomfortable their interaction made Joel Mchale.

Wasn't as controversial as I was led to believe. A lot of things I read about The Closer were taken out of context, and when you actually watch it, you laugh more than you cringe.

People that are sensationalizing this are doing more harm than good. Best to save the outrage for the blatant aggressions (and there are many) that deserve the attention, before "boy that cried wolf" syndrome takes hold of the populace at large.

Wait for it...The real Karate Kid
4 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This show is a must watch for any Karate kid fans. Full of the 80's movie cheese with a very 2020's villain to antihero vibe. Billy Zabka does an amazing job bringing depth to his character, turning Johnny into a mister Miyagi type figure. Apparently Barney Stinson from "How I met Your Mother" was right, Johny Lawrence was the real Karate kid the whole time.

Season four release date was just announced and I know what I'll be watching on New Year's Eve instead of the ball drop.

Had a feeling...
3 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I had a feeling this would tie in with Loki and the new Dr. Strange and the multiverse of madness, but after the first couple episodes I started having doubts. I thought this would maybe just be a anthology that ran parallel to the new MCU phase. That was until episode 8, "what if Ultron won?" Now I'm back in. Mind blown. Even more excited for the new Dr. Strange movie now than before. Well done!

Hell O Detective

Loved Lucifer from start to finish. The early seasons had a CSI vibe to them, and the latter seasons were more Buffy the vampire slayer.

Also, I'm a fan of Milton's Paradise Lost, and feel this show incorporated a lot of Milton-esque ideas.

Sad that it had to end, but wasn't sad about how it ended. Well done Lucifer.

The Nanny (1993–1999)

An under rated sitcom from the 90's
2 October 2021
The one liners from Fran Dresser as Ms. Fine are classic 90's sitcom. Thank you HBO max for the trip down memory lane. For those who have never seen The Nanny, it's worth the watch. The theme song tells you everything you need to know about the show. Excerpt below:

She was working in a bridal shop in Flushing Queens Til her boyfriend kicked her out in one of those crushing scenes.

What was she to do? Where was she to go? She was out on her fanny.

So over the bridge from Flushing to the Schefields door, she was there to sell makeup but the father saw more... She had style! She had flair! She was there!

That's how she became the nanny.

I wanna be your dog
2 October 2021
By far, the best live a action movies Disney has put out recently. The style, story and sound track were great.

I personally love what they did with Cruella and her back story, and to tbh prefer this over the old cartoon. I know, I know nostalgia and what not, but try to watch the animated 101 Dalmatians as an adult and tell me this movie doesn't blow the old one out of the water. They hit it out of the (dog) park with Cruella.

You will laugh. You will cry. No, seriously you will Cry
1 October 2021
A cartoon shouldn't give you this many feels. The ending was perfect and if you want a really good cry fest, go watch the episode about Fry's dog. I'm literally tearing up just thinking about it. Jurassic Bark should have won the Emmy that year (the episode was actually nominated and lost to the Simpsons, go look it up). There may be cartoons that are more funny, but none that are more complete.

...Loves it! This show is definitely on the Mount Rushmore of adult cartoons. I would say only South Park and the Simpsons beat it (unless the fight is prison rules).

Better than Central Park
1 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This show is like methadone. Not quite as good as Bob's Burgers but still good enough to get you through the day. It's a way better alternative than Central Park, which I guess would be more like Tylenol.

Unfortunately, the first episode of season 2 of The Great North is a musical episode, which IMO is wayyyyy to earlier in the series to do. As long as it doesn't become a habit it is still the superior show over Central Park to get you BB style fix.

Warning: Spoilers
One of the great sitcoms of the 2010's. Captain Holt has to be one of the best deadpan characters on tv. Episodes with his dog Cheddar are instant classics (Holt to an imposter dog straight faced: You're not cheddar, your just some common b**ch).

The last season had a couple episodes that were pretty hard to watch though. It wasn't necessarily the messaging, but more the delivery. Some of the above mentioned episodes felt like they were written by a 19 year old college student who just finished their first intro to sociology class. Definitely could have been a little more subtle instead of bludgeoning you over the head with familiar talking points.

I won't hold the last season over the shows head too much though since a) it's a comedy, so the show wasn't leading up to some big finale (*cough*game of thrones*cough) and b) there are still a few episodes in the last season that are classic Nine Nine.

Warning: Spoilers
One of the best shows of all time. Would have been a 10/10 and possibly THE best show if not for the ending. They could have pulled off the ending they had if it would have been set up a little better, maybe with another season, but seasons 1-6 were solid. The blame for the last season falls squarely on the show runners.

HBO and George RR Martin wanted to keep the show going but, Benioff and Weiss were done. Look I get it, after 10 years they wanted to do something different, but the fact they tried to blame the fans was ridiculous. In the same breath, they tried to say if you didn't see the ending coming you weren't paying attention, while also saying that the reason Aria kills the knight king was because they wanted it to be unexpected. They dropped the ball and trying to lash out at the fans for their screw up was pathetic.

IMO, the last season should have had the episode of the Bells happen before the long knight, but with Danny holding back at the last second. She takes kings landing without the massacre and then they go North. The long knight should have been the last to second last episode, with the knight king killing Danny and then John killing the knight king. Being a Targaryen, Stark, and the king beyond the wall, he unites the kingdoms.

Bran becoming king was a joke especially since he said multiple times he couldn't and didn't want to be (although apparently he knew the whole time?!) It also doesn't make sense that Sansa and the north remain independent because they don't trust the south, even though BOTH THE SOUTH AND NORTH ARE RULED BY STARKS! The only thing in the end that made sense was that John would flee beyond the wall (even he didn't want to live in the world Benioff and Weiss left behind).

If not for the failings of the last season, GOT from start to finish would hold the mantle for the most engrossing show ever. The last season will always be a stain. Even though it probably shouldn't, it will be remembered more for its miserable end than the wonderful journey that got it there. The last season casts a shadow over one of the best shows ever, and leaves fans wondering what if.

Money Grab
24 September 2021
Felt unnecessary, like they made it because they knew fans would pay money to see it. Story wasn't interesting, the characters weren't interesting, and acting was flat.

Johnny Depp was so bad, I was starting to wonder if some scenes were filmed with those look a likes you see at Disney land. I'm sure he doesn't feel good about this one, but blow and castles aren't free. He got a fat payday off suckers like us.

Best Marvel Movie
24 July 2021
Best entry out of them all. Perfect blend of action and comedy. I see a lot of comments here complain about how they didn't like "the dumbing down" of Thor's character, but I enjoyed it, especially since that is how he portrayed in actual Norse mythology, all brawn and no brain.

This is the best entry in the MCU. Good balance of action and comedy. It's two hours and ten minuets but doesn't feel like it (unlike some other MCU movies)

The story is lost in the music
26 June 2021
The plot is pretty interesting, but in true musical fashion, half of each episode is spent singing about things that don't further the plot along. If you are into musicals, this show might be for you, but if you are looking for something more like Bob's Burgers, you are better off checking out The Great North instead.

Still going strong
24 June 2021
I used to be in the camp that the show went down hill after season 10 (excluding the Movie, which was awesome), but thanks to every episode being on Disney+, I have to change my mind. The show is still f**kn hilarious. Holds up way better than other long running shows (*cough* Family guy *cough*)

The writing is still top notch and there is still character growth. Don't know how they do it after 30 plus years...

Warning: Spoilers
Don't get me wrong, seasons 1 & 2 are good but it gets way better after the Jim Halpert knock off Mark Brendanawicz leaves the show. He stays in Pawnee but is never heard of again, to much thanks of the audience.
