The Legend of Black Thunder Mountain (1979)
Nothing famous, but a cute and VERY old family film
The film is dated back to the late 70's a time where movies were still taking shape. So you can expect some cheesyness but like I said its expected from a 70's movie. It is really cute as it ventures with 2 children trying to save their fathers book from a gang of bad guys following them up a mountain. It has a lovely connection with the wildlife, and despite its hate I enjoyed the music. It suits the film nicely, its unique and stands out in its own way.
If you can get this film I will say its worth a watch. AGAIN please bare in mind it is a very very old movie.
Terminator: Dark Fate (2019)
Spoiler Warning: Linda and Arnold back made it better (Ending could of been better)
So to sum up without to many spoilers the movie plot is basically the exact same as Terminator 1. In the start John Connor is no longer alive, and His Mother Sara Connor lives on hunting Terminators from a future that had been destroyed. Turns out Skynet was destroyed and instead a new AI from further in the future decides to copy Skynet by sending Rev's to the past to destroy the new leader Danni.
Now I am not much for the story as its completely the same, but I love how it connects to the Terminator 1 & 2 so much better, and we do get some new little twists. The Rev's are pretty much indestructible, the survivors get cyborg upgrades to battle the Rev's, and Linda is back as a badass Grandmother looking lady fighting Rev's. Arny is as good as ever and a Terminator film is not a Terminator film without Arny.
With both of them back it is great to see as it was these 2 characters we started with. I was a bit disappointed with the ending however as it left it wide open for what can only be assumed for another sequel, as Sara says to the new leader to protect "Get ready for the war". I did not like it as much because it feels like the film series has not closed.
Terminator 2 closes the 2 films by stating that Skynet is gone and the future war never happens. Which is the kind of ending I prefer.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
(NO SPOILERS) Just As Good As Infinity War and the BEST ENDING EVER
Found this film is equally as good as Infinity War in its own rights, and the perfect way to end the beginning of the Marvel Universe.
The film will make you laugh, cry, and a lot of it keeps you on the edge of your seat. I cant say much more, but for me its one of the best film I have seen in history, and I feel that it dominates other franchise films with ease.
Paulie (1998)
One of the best, fun, and emotional family 90's classic
Who does not like a film about animals. Any animal lover would normally love a film about animals even if it is a talking parrot named Paulie.
But this one is one of my childhood favorites as we begin with 2 great characters the Janitor and Paulie explaining his story of his journey. Its a story filled with laughs, emotion, heart break, and love. As some people show Paulie compassion teaching him about what is wrong and right, and others who seek him out for profit.
Its a pretty obvious ending when you think about it, but still NO Spoilers as this film with I say worth a watch with all the family. Even 20 years on the film still holds incredibly well to this day.
Rampage (2018)
Surprised So Many Dont Like This!??
Ok so the film Rampage I will admit does not have much to a storyline and the characters feel a little randomly dropped into the film without much knowlage about them.
But we have a couple good well known actors the Rock who has already starred in many both cheap and expensive action style films. In addition we have Jeffrey Morgan who is famous for playing Negan in Walking Dead, and his humour is just as good in this film as it is as him acting as Negan.
There is not as much action I was expecting, but I still enjoyed what was given and the final battle is mind blowing effects.
I got the DVD (not on Blueray) and the quality of the CG I thought seemed very well done.
As a cheap stand alone film I give Rampage an 8 out of 10. I thought it was funny, and I enjoyed the action and the comedy between the Rock and Jeffrey.
Bridge to Terabithia (2007)
So sad I could never watch this again! SPOILERS
I remember reading this book when I was about 10 at school in 2005. I never watched the 2007 film until few days ago for the first time while visiting family. I knew how the story ended and it made me very sad as a child. I suspected the film was going to follow the same route and it did just this.
The film starts off with this little boy Jess who does not have many friends and he is bullied by 2 bigger boys and a girl a few years older than him. His family does not care to much about him and his Dad is obsess with money and does not care much for art or pretend. One day a new girl turning out to be his neighbour meets and friends Jess as they go on playful evenings after school using their imaginations to pretend they are in a fantasy kingdom. The girl teaches Jess to use his imagination, and teaches him to be himself as well as even giving him a birthday gift of his dreams.
Now if you read the book yes the film is exactly the same and the new girl who becomes Jess's best friend dies from falling into an overflowing river. The reason I gave this 3 stars is because of just how sad this film is because of this!
I hate films where a child dies in the story. In a world where accidents happen I find its sad and wrong. Watching this film made me want to cry. And even several days after watching it, the film still makes me want to cry! To think this girl helped a friend who was struggling in his childhood and to think of the potential future they had lost together I find sad.
Im sorry but if you prefer a happy ending I would not recommend this film. And for anyone over 18 out there the Terminator and Alien films were nicer than the ending of this film! I think for a kids film let alone a film on its own to me its the saddest ending I ever witnessed!
Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Thanos Strikes Back (Very good, Very Different, Very Funny, Very Dark)
Avoiding spoilers, this film is a thrill ride. Its well paced, with good back story to Thanos as we learn who he is, and why he is who he wants to be. Some absolutely more than epic funny moments as all the heroes we have grown up with over the years meet and team up with each other to beat Thanos. I can't think of a single thing wrong with this movie.
The ending has been hot topics since it released into cinema however, I enjoyed the ending. Its surprisingly takes a dark turn and ends in an odd way. However this part 1, and part 2 will be shortly following next year.
But in my opinion so far its one of the best Marvel Films I have seen since Iron Man. It was done very very well, and the film did not feel overwhelmed with all its heroes.
Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
Could of ended here
Ok so don't get me wrong the film I see great full of action and some good laughter as well! Some epic scenes and battles. But again no detail who or where Snoke came from, much of the First Order is destroyed, welcome to a point where Rey and Kylo might make peace but then we still have them fighting! I feel the ending was really pushing to keep Kylo Ren and the First Order Alive. I feel as if it could of been ended then and there.
The ending makes no sense either. The film ends with some kids telling the story of the battle. Why does this scene have any relavance? Also is and how with Lyia be in the next film now? There are lots to this film that makes no sense.

Pete's Dragon (2016)
Different to the 70's film BUT Just as good as 2016 Jungle Book
Try not to spoil it but its a brilliant film. It has a bit of resemblance to the 70's film only this takes place in the 1980's. Its got some very good characters, the CGI was done just as well as Jungle Book 2016. There is not much songs compared to the old version which is a little sad, however its got a very emotional and fun side to it all. I recommend buying this and watching. It really is a good film and its plot it good. There are also some funny scenes which even made me laugh. The plot was also very good.
Transformers: The Last Knight (2017)
Could of been better (Spoiler Alert)
Overall I give this one a handsome 7. The starting to the film seems pretty well set up with a good medieval battle and moving on from there. I will be honest its probably the funniest of the Transformers I've watched, and there is some nice short romantic scenes between Cade and the new girl which is very nice. Another nice thing was having old cast return to the film, as well as being able to see more of the Transformers actually Transform unlike the 4th film. Also get a short but epic scene with the dinobots and Cogman is both funny and annoying.
I am however very disappointed in Barricade in this film. From all the trailer scenes I was expecting at least a short but decent cool battle between Bumble Bee (hopefully better than the 1st film fight). But unfortunately there is hardly anything between Bumble Bee and Barricade but a simple car chase and that's about it. Megatron was very cool looking, and pretty mean as well. I am however also disappointed the fight scenes with him are also extremely short lived compared to the 4th film where Prime fights Lockdown.
Overall for the amount of effort put into the film, its also a fun edition to the franchise, and there are some much better scenes of Transformers and some very cool shots of Transformers. It also ties up a lot of the other films (ignore the plot holes if you can), it is more of a fun film, and I would never suggest taking Transformers as a serious film. I
Power Rangers (2017)
Not As Good As Expected
Im not sure its worth buying to be honest. It was a really good attempt to bring the Power Rangers to life in an Live Action film. I thought the actors were alright, and did OK for a bunch of mature teenagers. BUT the story was a bit sloppy. Background knowlage on characters was a bit poor and many random characters would often randomly pop out in the film, such as the Father, a few random police men, The old Red Leader, and the robot (Its bad when you can't remember any of their names). In all honesty Transformers is better. The graphical quality is NOT as good and it has a very Spy Kids kind of feel 2001 PC Graphics feel if I am honest. Many things in the story are NOT explained clearly either. Not saying due to spoilers, but big things that make you wonder why they are so important, or how something happened. It genuinely could of been such a better film and it really missed a good opportunity. If you want to see this film I STRONGLY recommend borrowing it off a friend or rent it out. Not really worth £10 in my opinion.
Stuart Little 3: Call of the Wild (2005)
Very Disappointed Compared to film 1 & 2 (spoilers)
Watching this for the first time as a 20 year old with my little brother who is 11. He liked the film but even he was questioning why the film was not like 1 and 2.
I don't understand the reason or point as to why the makers of this film decided to make the 3rd film fully 3D Animation. Being in the wild and the only characters that would need 100% CGI in a LIVE ACTION film would be Stuart (already in their computer systems and design), and the Beast. All the rest would of been much easier/simple to film live surely?
The story line was a little loose. It was good but loose. The story consists of Stuart, and his family going on a scouts camping trip in the woods. Once again Stuarts Mother over panics for his protection, the jokes made are awful and not funny. Later into the film Stuart freiends a Skunk he meets which later tricks his own friend Snowbell into offering himself to the Beast. Stuart later goes on a mission to stop the Beast and his Skunk friend and the forest animals also help.
The story line could of been MUCH better done really, perhaps having a better road trip scenes would of added a bit more. Also would of been cool to of had more than one bad guy for the 3rd film finale. I was also disappointed the girl bird Margalo had not returned. Being such an important role character Stuart liked, I would of liked to see her have returned to Stuart.
Overall and to Conclude, the biggest disappointment was having the first 2 films go from LIVE ACTION to 3D Animation. Its like making Star Wars 1, 2 3 4 5 6, and then they make 7, 8 ,9 into cartoon. It just does not work, and it feels wrong, non consistent and cheesy when you watch it. The other slight appointment was again the story lacked fun, and characters from previous films.
