I started out reading the books awhile ago before I saw the movie because I'm one of those people who will read a book before watching the film and I have to say that this was definitely a good adaption. I now, after watching it the first time, have watched it too many times to count. To begin with, the plot line is perfect if not lacking a few scenes from the book or adapting them slightly. The actors play the characters perfectly too and are how I would imagine them to be from the books and can no longer imagine them any other way. They give the characters some emotion, backstory and personality and I would not have them any other way. The sex scenes are...should we say very interesting and are again mostly how they are imagined in the book. I love this movie and it is one of my favorites and not only because of the sex scenes but because of the stories and their character arcs leading to the end.

This film is a little hard to keep up with in terms of the several personalities the main, should we say antagonist, has to put up with. The plot however is good, enjoyable and somewhat tense from A to B. The acting is perfect from all the characters and they are really believable.The character with the split personality carries it off really well, switching between them in a single moment, changing his voice and attitude to fit the personality and it really is a beautiful piece of work to watch. Would definitely watch this movie again to see if there were any hidden details I missed.

In the leading up to the release of this movie for the first time in cinema, I worried that it wouldn't be as good as the first one which I thoroughly enjoyed and, sadly, watch on repeat occasionally. When I finally came round to watching it however, it lived up to my expectations and indeed beyond. I feel that in this movie the characters have a lot more personality, living up to their characters. I find the way that the actors portray the characters to be perfect and they really get across who and what the characters are meant to be, bringing out the emotion in all the scenes of the movie. When watching this movie the characters made me laugh, cry and somewhat aroused... The plot itself is also very similar to the book despite the occasional changes here and there. As for the more intense scenes...they definitely get across the mood that's for sure and are done well. All in all I think that this movie definitely lives up to expectations in my personal opinion and moves the movies closer to the finale that I now cannot wait for!
