Deo geullori (2022)
Fantastic!
Watched both season 1 and season 2 and I must say I was pleasantly surprised how good this drama is, I didn't think it was going to be this good. The acting from all the cast were brilliant. Fantastic actors/actresses and a standing ovation to the writer(s), producers and the director for bringing all this together. Season 2 just came out yesterday and it's already at No. 3 on Netflix.
I heard some people complain that Son Hye-kyo's character was a little too old but hearing it from Son Hye-kyo herself, that was all intentional. Her character Dong-eun went through so much in her life that she would look visibly older than her old classmates. Having a hard life would age anyone faster, make sense. Anyway, fantastic drama and one of the best dramas of 2023. I fully recommend.
Juvenile Justice (2022)
Another Korean hit!
Surprisingly good! For me it was a roller coaster of emotions and even had me shed some tears in some episodes. All the cast did wonderful job acting 👏 👏👏.
I saw other comments that said "bad acting" and "medium acting" and I'm asking myself, are they tone-death or did they watch the same show OR did they watch it with English dubbing? Never watch anything with dubbing unless you're doing two things at once. It's never the same!
Nagwonui bam (2020)
Loved it!
I've watched many gangster films in my life and this one definitely ranks up there. The superb acting by the cast, the story line, the realistic action with all the blood. This is my kind of a movie, I loved it!

Need to watch Episode 4!
Slow start but it's getting much better. Episode 4 was really good! A shocking surprise I did not expect at the end. I'm truly looking forward to the next episode.
Greenland (2020)
Intense!
My family and I loved it! People who gave this a low rating are just very hard to please. If you love apocalyptic movies you should really watch this. The acting, the special effects, the story, everything was great!
Seungriho (2021)
I enjoyed it alot!
I still can't believe the budget on this movie was only $21.2 million! That's incredible! I loved everything about the movie, from the cast to the storyline, including the special effects. Acting was great from the main characters (please turn off the dubbing). Few people are complaining about the CGI but just ignore them, they're spoiled from watching movies with $200+ million budget. I could only imagine what Koreans could do with that kind of money spent. And please don't make comparison to the Expanse, Firefly, or anything else because it's completely different. Only similarities are that it's in the future and outer space. If you think this is bad, watch the $250 million budget John Carter. A huge letdown! There are others I won't mention.
For Korea's first space sci-fi movie I was truly pleasantly surprised how good it was and loved that there were international cast as well.
Kingdom (2019)
Awesome series!
This is one of my favorite series of all time. Something different and refreshing zombie show that separates itself from every other zombie stories. I loved everything about this awesome drama! Highly recommend!
Seuwiteuhom (2020)
Loved it!
I wanted to watch something to keep me entertained, and this definitely kept me entertained. I finished all 10 episodes in two days. Some people will nitpick every little flaws but I loved the characters, the action and the special effects. If you're into long drawn out storyline with character development, just stick with the walking dead, but if you're into a good apocalyptic action shows/movies, then this may be for you. You may also want to check out "Kingdom" (Korean zombie action drama). Very good!
I'm really hoping for a second season to "Sweet Home"!
Taeksi woonjunsa (2017)
Very well done!
This movie was very well done and great acting by all the cast. It was captivating from start to finish. I watched this movie twice, first when it came out and again in 2020. Must watch!
Itaewon Keullasseu (2020)
One of my favorite K-Drama!
I know some people didn't like the ending but I really enjoyed this show. Yes they could have done the last few episode a little better but I loved the cast, the story, and the ost. I give it 9/10. This was based off of a webtoon so I am wondering if they kept the same storyline. Nonetheless, it was something original and different.
Seutateueob (2020)
Best K-Drama 2020
This is my favorite Korean Drama for 2020. I am 6 episodes in I am really looking forward to the next one. I like how K-Dramas mix comedy with the dramatic aspects. I just hope they don't rush this as I've seen with some K-Dramas. This will keep me highly entertained until the Kingdom season 3.
Ojik geudaeman (2011)
One of the best romantic movies out there!
People that enjoy romantic movies, this is a must watch and get some tissues ready! I'm a man and my eyes were sweating, lol. As a Korean-American I've watched so many Korean movies, drama, shows, etc. And one thing that Koreans do really well are sad, dramatic movies and tv dramas. No American (drama) movies or shows ever made be shed a tear but every time I watch a Korean (drama) movie/shows they never fail at disturbing my emotions (for the good)! The acting was superb by both the main characters and very believable. You can truly feel the love that they had for one another. I highly recommend!!
Pan-dola (2016)
Great movie!
This movie had me in tears, and I'm a guy (not afraid to admit it). It was nicely done with great acting and directing. American movies rarely have me in tears, there's always something missing with western movies. Koreans make really good Dramas and Action Drama movies, always gets me emotional whenever there are sad scenes, it's powerful stuff. I'm not an expert on nuclear power plants and how they operate but it is a fictional movie after all. So to those who say this movie is not accurate or the actors were melodramatic please sthu. If you think you can do better be my guest, you are talentless! It's always easy to be a critic, isn't it?
