Joker (2019)
Exceeded expectations and surprised me in the most gruesome way possible
I was predicting out of the blue after seeing the first look trailer that this has potential and can be one of the best movies ever made.
Well, i was not expecting to actually be right.
Visceral, symbolical, real, sometimes too real in the best way possible, and doing justice to the unbelievable and legendary villain that Joker is.
The character has had some amazing people portraying him. Another Oscar for the joker might be coming soon.
Shingeki no Kyojin: Hero (2019)
P E R F E C T I O N .
Perfection... just... simply put... PERFECTION .
Do yourself a favor and watch this masterpiece as soon as possible to experience every type of emotion. I can only compare this to Endgame, regarding the level of enjoyment.
My god...
Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Simply... WOW.
This is now my all time favourite movie... and it is a very weird reason why. Not a regular reason, like objectively speaking, story, characters, meaning etc. etc.. It is my favourite movie because i have never felt such a connection with what was happening on screen. It is the absolute culmination of the MCU, of 11 years of building something so huge that it needs no introduction anymore. I felt respected as a fan while also being given an absolute masterpiece that in my opinion ended in the right and simbolical way. I have went through every single emotion and feeling in this movie.
And the final reason why i am putting this as my favourite movie:
*I have never in my life cried out of PURE JOY, it was always accompanied by other reasons or emotions up until now. No, this time my eyes were watering out of pure JOY. The kid inside of me who thought would never witness such a grand spectacle, just released in pure excitement and thrill.
To all the people who worked on this, from all the fans, and at least, especially from me : *THANK YOU*...
Game of Thrones: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2019)
AGAIN! DO NOT lsiten to those "USELESS EPISODE" reviews
Same as the last episode, explosion nerds go out calling this episode useless and slow, attacking the producers as if they are wasting time and giving them useless filler episodes.
If that is what you got from these 2 episodes then you should seriously consider yourself stupid, like actually stupid.
Let me clear this out. The next 5 HOURS... yes 5 HOURS of the show that are left are gonna be probably one of the most action packed and full of tension hours in television history. I could have watched episodes like this last one for hours.
AMAZING interactions and dialogue. Seeing buddies laughing before their probable imminent death is just heart warming, with a little bit of tension thrown in there for Game of Thrones sake.
A list of amazing, possibly last happy moments, scenes:
*Theon reuniting with Sansa
*Arya and Gendry
*Brienne of Tarth fullfilling her childhood dream at the hand of Jaime whose arch is something incredible, possibly one of the best in television history
*The whole "hangout" near the fire.
*
It all seemed so genuine and just warmed my heart seeing that. Lots of humour, tension and a great build-up for the storm that is coming. THIS SHOW HAS ALWAYS BEEN CHARACTER INTERACTION DRIVEN. Just stop acting like this is a bad thing now as if the show is changed.
Game of Thrones: Winterfell (2019)
DON'T listen to the people saying this is underwhelming !
Seeing some of these reviews almost makes me want to just never read any reviews ever again. To all the people saying this was boring and too slow, please stop watching tv shows if you are not gonna pay attention to them.
So many good things in this episode:
* So much tension created with quotes and even with simple glances.
* Reunions that we have wanted for such long time. (It really has that vibe of the very first episode)
* Amazing score with breathtaking visuals and a very nice tone overall, feels like a very well done setup.
* And the last point, this is NOT a slow episode AT ALL. They have crammed into basically 49 minutes of runtime: Jon and Daenerys arriving at Winterfell, Arya reuniting fully with the family, the people in the north seeing the dragons, intriguing plans and dialogue from each "camp", Jaime arriving at Winterfell, JON RIDING THE DRAGON, Jon FINDING OUT the truth about him, seeing what happened to the people near the wall.
I am actually very surprised they did all of this in one episode, while I was expecting some of them to be scattered in the first 3. People act like they lost a lot of time while there are still OVER 6 HOURS with the base being already set. I am honestly sick of people thinking an episode without explosions or mindless action slow, and this comes from a guy that loves a good, entertaining action movie/show.
