Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (2003)
amazing
This is my all time favorite video game from childhood. I replay it every year at least once so far since 2004-2016. It features a story that is vastly superior to the Prequel star wars films by George Lucas released in the early 2000s. The soundtrack is very good I like it but it isn't like William's outstanding work on the films. The music of the movies would not fit anyway because KOTOR showed us a new era in the star wars expanded universe 4,000 years before A New Hope. A time when there are many dark jedi and jedi running around shortly after the Mandalorian Wars and not too long after the Exar Khun War.
Simply the greatest star wars video game out there and one of the best pieces of expanded universe you can delve into. Unfortunately was followed up with an unfinished Sequel by another developer and a disappointing massive online multiplayer game.
The choices in this game are not many in every situation where this is a choice it is always one light side choice and one dark side choice. I was new to Rpgs when I played this game for the first time so having any choices of how things played out was amazing to me.
This game features one of the greatest plot twists of all time which I won't ruin for anybody even in 2017.
Byzantium (2012)
Hidden Gem
I saw this on live TV either the year it came out or the following year. This one moved me. Unlike any other film I have ever seen. Only negative is it left me wanting more. Masterfully filmed, written and the acting is top notch. This is a powerful story of female vampires or revenant beings who do not age. What I loved about this film is how it felt like watching two films side by side one that takes place centuries ago in the past and another in modern day. I was fascinated by the unique approach the creators chose to explain how a revenant is made.
