Av: The Hunt (2020)
Gripping and scary in equal measure.
Without shadow of a doubt, this was my favourite film of the online Frightfest.
Some gripping performances and edge of the seat moments, made even more scary that for some women this is their reality. If you are considering watching this film, don't hesitate. Definitely worth a watch.
Skull: The Mask (2020)
Fabulous 80s style horror
With a title like Skull: The Mask, you know exactly what you are getting here. 80s style horror made with a lot of heart and a hell of a lot of blood. Engaging and well made. Definitely worth checking out!
The Honeymoon Phase (2019)
Great as Sci-Fi based horror
Say this film as part of the online Frightfest. It wouldn't normally be my type of film bit I'm glad I made this choice. Stylish and creepy in equal measure with some great performances. Definitely worth checking out.

I Scream on the Beach! (2020)
Entertaining Horror by the Sea
I was lucky enough to catch this film at its packed premiere screening at horror on sea in January 2020.
Making the most of the by the sea filming location, the film follows the inhabitants of Mellow Coast as they struggle with a killer.
A combination of great writing and retro VHS styling makes this an enjoyable watch.
Defiantly worth checking out!
Flesher (2019)

Dr. Balden Cross: Beyond the Void (2018)
Highly enjoyable, Imaginative Fortean short.
Really enjoyed this imaginative short at the recent Horror On Sea film festival. It let me nostalgic the Fortean programmes of my youth!
The suave David Fenn is highly believable as the fabled Dr Balden Cross bringing a level of gravitas and sophistication reminiscent of academics of the past. Watch out for the cameos by Norman J Warren and rising indie director Cassandra Sechler. I'm really excited to see what comes next from this talented director.
Perfect Skin (2018)
Beautifully shot and engaging!
Caught this film at Frightfest and so glad I did! Engaging from beginning to end with brilliant performances.
Richard Break is fantastic throughout as a sympathetic villain. Definitely worth seeking out!
Butterfly Kisses (2018)
Fabulous film
Totally loved this film! A true filmmaker's film about a documentary crew, filming a guy...making a film about a crew making a documentary!! Filmed in found footage style it had me gripped from start to finish! Flawlessly acted and genuinely spooky throughout. A bit 'Blair witch' meets The Ring... definitely worth checking out!!
Bella in the Wych Elm (2017)
An atmospheric murder mystery.
I was so pleased to have seen this film on the 'big screen' at Horror-On-Sea. From the moment it started, I was enthralled by tale of an unsolved murder in the Midlands. Stunningly shot in black and white, this atmospheric film grips the viewer from start to finish. The 30mins or so literally flew by. The evocative voiceover relaxes the viewer and draws you into this sad tale. Stunning attention to detail in a film which, whilst a documentary, at times feels more like a fire side ghost story. If you get the opportunity, go and see it... or buy the dvd.
