The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On (2022)
An absolute hot mess
The premise... put 12 of the most self absorbed, 20 something year old headcases in a bottle and shake it up. That's it. That's the show. Sadly, I watched one episode and I'll never get that time back. If you are DYING to know which of these headcases stay together just wait until the reunion episode and save the time. It's really that brutal. After watching a few minutes of this you'll realize why this generation of kids is so messed up.
Canine Intervention (2021)
Don't waste your time.
Watched the first 2 episodes and realized this is a Netflix casual attempt to lecture everyone on social injustice. The host whining about brown people being incarcerated, watching him on his prayer mat. It's just dumb and unnecessary. Anyone with a brain knows that dogs are food and treat motivated and that's how you train them. The host did nothing special. Don't waste a second of your time on this garbage.
The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers (2021)
Fantastic and nostalgic
Thank you Disney for reviving the Mighty Ducks and making it into a series. Watched the first episode and was instantly hooked. Ended up blowing through the remaining episodes in 2 nights. Emilio will be missed, but I'm more than thankful there will be a season 2. Highly recommended.
Heels (2021)
One of the BEST shows I have watched in a long time
WOW.... This show was really great. I'm a casual wrestling fan and was intrigued by the trailer. You don't even have to like wrestling to enjoy this show. The story, the acting, and emotions were just raw and real. Forgot about the bad reviews here and just go watch this show and you will be in for a treat. I especially enjoyed Steven Amell and Kelli Berglund. I just may go watch it again. It's that good. So thankful it was renewed for season 2.
Titletown High (2021)
What was Netflix thinking??
Soooooo bad. Watched 2 episodes and will never get those 60 minutes back. Bunch of whiny 16 year old's traversing puberty and football in some backwoods area of Georgia where the southern drawls are so bad you can't even understand what the hell they are saying, and some of the 16-17 year old's look like grown men. Shows like this are why Netflix is falling behind in the streaming game. They could've just ran this on the CW network next to All American. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this show.
The Baker and the Beauty (2020)
Finally something different.
I must say I never knew this show existed until it arrived on Netflix and am I glad I found it. What a breath of fresh air from all the forced African American shows in network TV. This is about a tight knit Latino family and it was so well done and so underrated. We need more shows like this. I have a feeling once this show catches on with the Netflix crowd it will be renewed.
Zero Chill (2021)
It's so bad but I can't stop watching
This show is the ultimate train wreck. The acting is possibly some of the worst you will find, the filming and locations are laughable, the story and episodes are so outlandish, yet I can't stop watching. It's ok for what it is but I pray they spare us a second season. Just should've renewed Spinning Out which was an awesome show.
The Last Kingdom (2015)
Absolutely one of the best shows on Netflix or anywhere for that matter.
What can I say. This is a special show. No nonsense, no forced agendas, none of the usual Netflix forced woke-ness. This is just an amazing show about a brutal time period. The acting is phenomenal, the settings are brilliant and the show is mesmerizing. We binged it in a few days. One episode just flows right into another. My only question is.... Is there a more badass, cooler character than Uhtred?? The answer is NO!
Klaus (2019)
And just like that, a Christmas classic is born
Watched this on a whim, was in the mood for a lighthearted movie and WOW. Was sucked right into this beautiful animated world. This movie is so charming, sweet and emotional. At times I was smiling at the screen and at times I was sad. Do yourself a favor and watch this movie. You will not regret it. One of the best.
Cursed (2020)
VERY GOOD!
Ignore all the nonsense and watch this series. It is awesome. Soooooo much better than I expected. Katherine Langford sheds her hannah baker persona nicely and actually it pretty darn good here. Not to mention the scenery is beautiful.
