Tessa Thompson gives a masterful performance. Her control and depth of character is a thrill to watch. Ruth Negga's performance is light and fun to watch as she continually stretches the boundaries of her life. The two women deserve every accolade that comes their way for this performance.

I was in HS when this came out. We somehow convinced our English teacher to take us to see it as a field trip. Needless to say we were not asked to write anything about the movie! 🤣🤣

I definitely plan to watch this again soon for nostalgia reasons.
