Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024)
Meh
I found it dull. Poorly paced (ESPECIALLY the first episode, holy crap) and just felt like it was dragging. You don't need action to create tension and momentum, but this show didn't succeed in that. The first episode had me interested in the characters, their backstories and their interactions with each other, but it just felt flat. And dull. Subsequent episodes moved a little faster, but lost some of that character interest they created in the first one. I very quickly lost any investment I had in the characters AND their missions. Worth watching a few episodes to make up your own mind, but for me....meh.
12 Pups of Christmas (2019)
Ridiculous
Someone that passive aggressive should never be a therapist - doggie or otherwise! Main character was a complete jerk, but she has a soft voice and her boyfriend cheated on her, so apparently we're supposed to feel sorry for her and ignore how passive aggressive and rude she is. Why would her friend even want to be near someone like that?? She is so unlikeable I couldn't finish
Also, she is a freaking DOG THERAPIST and she is supposed to singlehandedly save an entire company?
This movie is terrible. Unique idea, cute dogs, gets it the two stars. Don't waste your time.

The cutest 90 min card commercial Ive seen

Different storyline, which I appreciate. Still manages to hit certain tropes like getting upset because you can t just TALK to each other. Cute, funny, multiple romances, and nary a small town, a high powered Christmas hating exec, or a single parent with a precocious matchmaking child in sight. Worth a watch.
Also, if you send people Hallmark cards, you too could fall in love and positively impact absolutely everyone around you
