BORING garbage in NO WAY a THRILLER
25 October 2023
I think it's an absolute joke that this movie is being categorized as a "Thriller". Do thrillers usually put you to sleep? Because this movie has a high chance of doing so.

The acting was good but the story and directing were laughable at best. This is in no way a spoiler but nothing happens in this movie. It's a story about 2 girls making a series of dumber and dumber decisions and then it just ends.

I don't understand how this got good reviews from laypeople and critics alike. It's a story that goes absolutely nowhere and takes it's sweet time getting there.

Want to watch a good thriller? Go Watch Prisoners with Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal. That would be a MUCH better use of your time.

2/10.

Geez that was painful to watch

Not sure what's going on with Sebastian but geez that was painful to watch. I'll be honest with you, i only made it half way through and i FORCED myself to even get there.

I will say that i loved all 3 of his previous specials and have watched them multiple times each. It was such a gut punch watching this - i didn't laugh once. Even the people in the audience didn't seem all that into it. It seems like maybe the fame got to his head, he was very low energy. It's like he thinks he doesn't have to work for it anymore - you're an entertainer...you have one job...be entertaining!

This one really just missed the mark, much like Bill Burr's last special, this was cringe inducing.

Do yourself a favor and skip this one. Sebastian should take his own advice and "Stay Hungry".

Who greenlit this dumpster fire?

This show feels like one of those sequels to a movie that isn't related to the original at all - they just stole the name. The writing is almost as atrocious as the acting is. Where do they find these people? Most of the performances aren't worthy of student films. Do yourself a favor and just re-watch American Horror Story seasons 1-4 when the show was actually good.

Geez that was hard to watch
17 June 2022
When i saw the lineup i had reasonably high hopes for this. I love Bill, Jeff Ross and Dave Attell - But even they couldn't save this cringe fest. At a certain point it seemed like they were in a contest of who could get the least amount of laughs. Bill himself wasn't even funny, i think i laughed once during his set, after that it was just a downward spiral. The lowest point was a tie between comedians (if you want to call them that) Jessica Kirson and Stephanie Tolev - watching their sets was akin to having a root canal and a colonoscopy at the same time. Do yourself a favor and keep scrolling when you see this on Netflix.

The "Meh"man
18 May 2022
This movie was WAAAAAAAAYYYYYY overhyped - I'll admit when i saw the first teaser trailer i was excited for it. To Robert Pattinson's credit he did a decent job, he still can't seem to shake the stink of the Twilight saga off. Which is a shame because he's actually a good actor (See Good Time or Tenet). The movie as a whole on the other hand was a huge let down - a very long, very drawn out, badly written slog of a film. Of all the films in the franchise this had one of the least interesting stories and definitely the least amount of "action". Paul Dano's portrayal of the Riddler was cringe inducing - it's almost laughable how bad he was. I'd rather watch Jim Carrey's Riddler scenes on a loop for six hours than watch 10 seconds of Dano's.

Utter Garbage
2 June 2021
If you're picking a movie to see in the theater for the first time in over a year this should NOT be it. Everything and i do mean everything about this movie was a let down - the biggest being Chris Rock. Chris Rock is an extremely talented comedian.....he's a HORRIBLE ACTOR. I guess he saw Sandler in Uncut Gems and was like if he can do it, so can i....no....you can't. Nowadays they are trying to make everyone an actor - singers, wrestlers, stand-up comedians - i've got an idea...how about you hire AN ACTOR! This was painful to watch - the entire thing seemed like it was phoned in. This movie is more of a crappy cliché riddled police procedural than a Saw movie. The only thing this movie did successfully was knock Saw 3D down to being the SECOND worst Saw movie. Do yourself a favor and skip it - you'll thank me later.

Absolute waste of an exceptional cast
22 February 2020
This one is a head scratcher....and by head scratcher i mean after the film is over you will scratch your head wondering why anyone would sign onto this movie. To say that the story was poorly conceived would be a an understatement. The movie goes absolutely no where and ultimately you're left with a feeling of regret for how you chose to spend the last hour and a half of your life

The Good : Tye Sheridan's performance as a high functioning man with Asperger's , seeing John Leguizamo in something since John Wick Chapter 2 and a briefly topless Ana de Armas

The Bad : Everything else

TLDR: Skip this one for sure
