Pinocchio (2014)
Too long..too boring..too long..
Someone kept recomending this drama so I went and read the synopsis. It looked promising. Young boy, chance for normal life taken away from him, destroyed family. Huge injustice.
Then I read the reviews and saw a very high ratings so I went for a ride..
1.episode:I was fighting to stay awake. Too dragged.
2.episode: Same thing. So dragged and slow and everything deviated from the story. Focus was put entirely on his new family and his fling with this arrogant pinocchio girl.
Every episode is filled with nothingness cause they had to fill in those over 1hour long epidodes.
I endured 6 more episodes and then I just couldn't anymore.
Why would I force myself to watch series that has so little to happen in a 20 hour span? It's too slow and too long and too boring.
If you're looking for something exciting, funny or something that will pull you in right from the start-This isn't it. Skip it. There are way more interesting and better made kdramas.
Move to Heaven (2021)
No one is that perfect. NO ONE.
I like the theme of the series and all actors played their roles well. But overhyping some kdramas is really starting to get on my nerves. Why people won't stop overreacting and when will they start being a little more realistic when rating kdramas? It's not perfect. Far from it.
FYI,when you overhype them, those dramas immediately drop points cause they don't rise to everyone's expectations. When I see ratings so high,I expect no filler episodes,no boring scenes and no predictable plots. And this one has all this.
So,I don't blame drama makers,I blame ppl who rate those dramas so high as if they never watched anything very well made before.
And last but no least. LAST EPISODE. Why they had to make saints out of Geu-ru's parents? I don't like when there is no end to exaggeration, they exaggerate beyond all measures of exaggeration. No one is like that. People like that just don't exist. No one is that perfect,so I would appreciate it more if his parents stories weren't shown in a way of perfect human beings who endlesly suffer and sacrifice for other people cause no one in this world is like that.
Uncle and "next door" had amazing chemistry. Actor who played Geu-ru did really great job.
Oworui Cheongchun (2021)
Little brother got his sister AND his father killed. In the same way
I read somewhere: Worst brother of the year' Award goes to Myung Soo: Got his dad AND his noona killed within a span of 24 hours, in the same way. Kid never learns. No wonder he became priest after that. I'm hoping Myung Hee and Dad's ghost haunted him every now & then.
I can't agree more.
Gwanju uprising is tragic historical event and I saw many documentaries and movies about it so I know that "Youth of May" has very little about it.
I would actually rate it at least 8 if the killing of the main actress had to do with the actual uprising. Or if it was in any way impactful. But she died just because her little brother was reckless and stupid. And his sister just as his father died the same death,in the same way,to protect this little guy. It wasn't emotional for me. It was just rushed and stupid and
unimaginative. If the main female lead had to die, writters at least could've tried a little to make it an impactful and emotional death. I wasn't sad. So they def failed to deliver.
I read everywhere that this drama is emotional. Well,it isn't. It is very depressing, yes, but they didn't to any justice to the victims. There were too many deaths that had nothing to do with Gwanju uprising and were just plain stupidly executed.
If you are interested in Gwanju uprising in the 80's,skip this one and watch something else, there are many that are far better made than this.
Neo-eui kyeol-hoon-sik (2018)
Tragic love story where one gets happy ending and the other is left with a longtime hurting.
!SPOILER ALERT!
As someone already said it,casting is great so I can't rate this movie lower although I really want to.
I love the actor that plays our FL but I dislike her character in this movie. Movie has this sad tone from the begining and mostly cause FL Seung hee makes our ML sad and lonely for whole 12 years that they known eachother. She is the worst type of girl. She is someone who loves to be loved but isn't so good in giving what she recieves. She has ML wrapped around her finger for more than a decade and keeps that obssesion of his alive but keeps him at safe distance all the time so that she doesn't have to reciprocate his strong devotion.
We see a lot of heartbreaking scenes where she repetedly hurts him till the end where he comes to her big white wedding to tell her some sweet things to get his closure. But he didn't get his closure. Film ends with him leaving wedding hall heartbroken and miserable.
Love is all about timing, yes. And about meeting the right person who will be able to love you and make you feel safe in their heart. Unlike Seung-hee.
Piramideu Geim (2024)
Half of the time you won't know what is happening or why..
Pyramid game deals with the well-known school bullying. As if today's kids aren't already too creative in their methods of bullying, they have just given them another idea with this series.
Regardless, the series started intensely and interestingly, but soon they started messing with the timeline. Every episode is cut in key scenes and without any explanation why what is happening, the scene continues confusingly and without meaning. Cut scenes are returned sometimes in the middle or at the end of the episode, sometimes at the beginning of a new episode, and sometimes they completely forgot to return the scene to show what actually happened in the part that they deliberately did not show.
Overall, the series wouldn't have been so bad if they hadn't played too much with the timeline and thus made everything confusing.

Could've been an easy 10 but they just had to ruin it
I just really hate it when I start some korean mocie or drama and it's just amazing and get's me hooked easily but then,by the very end, they manage to screw it all up. I just don't get it. 90 minutes of the film was this cute, warm, funny, intense at times family drama with developing love story Our female lead was so lovable and warm character. She taught this poor werewolf guy so many things, she gave him attention and showed him tenderness, then, last 20 minutes it's just :"let's wrap it up just to end it". Our sweet female lead, turned out to be this cold wench who left him without ever coming back to check on him. Ever. In 47 years. Not once. And when she did come back, she had this funny little chat with her granddaughter. She asked her young granddaughter if her boyfriend was rich. Her answer to "he's not rich" was: "than have fun with him and throw him away." What a wonderful granny.. Love story? Not exactly. If this story has a massage it's : don't trust anybody. Sadly, but just another hyped movie that failed at the end.

Only thing real here is a.. I guess there isn't single one
As many other kdramas before, this one started very excitng and makes you anticipating eagerly what will happen next. But that very soon turns into "what the hell am I watching here and why?"
"Marry my husband" has a female lead who suffered her whole life. Almost everything bad that could happen,it happened to her. And it just never stops! We know that the Korean dramas makers are keen to exaggeration but my God,did they overdid this time haha.
Like it wasn't enough that female lead is dying from the cancer and married to a guy who mistreats her and mentally abuses her, used her as a source of money so he doesn't have to work, she has mother in law who is absolutely unbearable and humiliates her in every way possible and makes her feel like a worthless piece of cr*p all while her husbund is cheating on her with her sly, manipulative, evil "best friend" who hates her the most as it seems but keeps our female lead delusional and with fake sense of friendship and "sisterhood".
Noo,all this wasn't enough so there is a female lead's mother who emerged so that she can conspire with all those people I described above to kill her daughter she hasn't seen 15 years and take all of the money that she was given by the unbelievably unreal male lead, aka "prince charming".
Throughout all the series the creators showed us that everyone who came across the female lead's path hates her and treats her as she isn't worthy of any decency but of course there is a perfect prince charming who gives everything for her. She even ends up winning over his ridiculusy rich and grumpy grandpa to adore her and she ends up being the richest and respected woman in S. Korea.
Her mother despised her,her husband, his mother, her best friend, everyone in school, her superior at work...but there is a perfectly nice, handsome, insanely rich guy who fell in love with her and made her life a fairiy tale.
If I wanted to see stuff like that,I'd watch cindarella or sleeping beauty or beauty and the beast. I'm seriously gonna reconsider my upcoming kdrama list cause they keep getting worse and worse.
Love Song for Illusion (2024)
Why so many flashbacks?
Flashback after flashback after flashback.. Right after some scene ends, they repeat it in whole in the same episode and than in the next and it's just not stopping. Everything we see in this drama we see it again and than again and than again. Stop it with those flashback. No one wants to see same stuff all the time over and over again.

Night Has Come (2023)
Why are Korean school kids alway portrayed similary in all their dramas? Is that what they really are?
Korean school kids are always portrayed as a very vile bunch. I guess Korean society failed miserably. This is a fictional story about not so fictional Korean reality.
Ok,let's review the "Night has come". So the whole class is stuck in a game where they pay for their sins for leading their classmate into her suicide. Bullying is quite normal for Korean kids and we've all seenbit already many times. In this particular drama kids are not only bullies, they are murders too. As soon as the "mafia" game started, they all showed their true colours. It's like the game was just an excuse for them to slaughter each other. Friends killed their closest friends without any remorse, they even killed without any reason. They mostly killed cause they enjoed it. Voting thing was just as disgusting to watch cause they really couldnt care less who are they going to kill next. Only 3 main characters weren't crazy murderers. Everyone else in that class were a cold blooded killers.
Beside that, every episode was pretty much the same,it it was longer than 12 episode show with over an hour lenght each I would quit watching probably after second episode.
Naui ajusshi (2018)
There are soo many "slice of life" kdramas better than "My mister" . Belive me,this one is average.
I'm not picky at choosing my kdramas. I really watched a lot of stuff. And a lot of those that are under the radar or have low ratings. Psychological thrillers are my favourite genre but I enjoy good romance or good action or good horror and especially "slice of life" dramas.
"My mister" has the highest rating than any other kdrama. It's much higher than many other really great, interesting kdramas. Is "my mister" something you've never saw before? Is it really that superb? Is it perfect? Why rate it that high? Those rating aren't even remotely justified.
My personal honest opinion about "My mister";
Boring. Then Slow. Then boring again. Then it's a bit violent. Then slow. I've watched MANY KDRAMAS. And for a show with THE HIGHEST RATINGS I expected a lot more. I was honestly shocked that it was that slow and boring and with many flaws;the one that I simply can not ignore is female lead doing male lead so wrong on so many levels. She did so many illegal, criminal stuff, trying to ruin him for money but still staying close to him. Sickening. We ALL HAVE OUR TROUBLES. Many of us had it worse than she did. It doesnt give us the right to be that greedy for money and become worse than the ppl who did us wrong. I don't see the point in justifying her. I have no pitty for people like the character she played.
Cheolinwanghoo (2020)
The bigger the hype, the bigger the mistrust
I knew something was wrong when the hype was this big. Well, unfortunately I was right. What's wrong? The ending,OFCOURSE. Same old korean curse, make it good, keep them interested and than; ruin the end, make them feel like they lost 19 hours of their life cause the story that was that great and unique will simply disappear in the last episode. King was that dumb afterall? Not noticing that the woman he fell in love with is not the one that he ended up with? No justice for the king whatsoever. You spent 19 hours covincing us that they are falling in love just so that you would tell us in the 20th episode that it was an illusion? C'mon. Stop complicating over and beyond. But first, stop ruining the endings. Let the good drama STAY good.
Lover (2023)
Does all these 10/10 are from the people who watched the whole 21 episodes?
I love history kdramas. And I did enjoy watching "My dearest". Until I didn't. I'm used to kdrama's sad stories and heartbreaking separations of families and lovers but this one was just getting more and more depressing with every episode. It was already a tragic story in a tragic timeline, why push it even deeper into the black hole of regrets and endless bad decisions? Two people who really love each other but constantly decide not to be together for no reason at all. If it weren't for the phenomenal acting of the two main actors, this series would be just another in a series of depressing and slow kdramas. I started this drama cause I was told it had a happy ending, but it wasn't happy enough for me after all depression it caused. Everything was just way too sad, every element; the era,the war outbreak, the awful king of that time, love stories, family issues.. If you don't want to feel empty for a couple of days after watching it,just skip it.
Banjjagineun Woteomellon (2023)
Warm and sweet story but still doesn't deserve rating that high
Firstly,I'm gonna say that despite of all the negatives that I'll write below,I still think that this drama is interesting and have some of very lovable cast. But it simply doesn't deserve such a hype and high rating.
This show brought kdrama-known slow motion to whole another level. It isn't even slow motion anymore, they drag some slow motion scenes to the point that you think that your screen is frozen, cause it probably is.
The deaf girl, second FL has very sad and lonely life, but why does she have to be so rude and cocky to apsolutely everyone exept the boy she has a crush on? How can she fall in love with the person she never had any contact with but isn't capable to develope any kind of normal emotion with anybody else? I get why she is angry but she is way to rude and I simply don't see why would such a bubbly guy like Yi chan fall for her.
And the last but not least,I just hate when kdrama writers put some average looking girl and present her as a epitome of beauty and every boy in every school is in love with her and I'm like, why? Are they blind? But I still try to like her but I CAN'T cause she has a role of some forced arrogant beauty. And not to mention her haircut;OMG.
Wo De Fan Pai Nan You (2022)
Honestly,if you pick any random stranger from the street,it would do better job than this actress who, beats me how she got the role of fl..
To begin with, the drama had the potential to be interesting, the theme of the story was interesting enough to pique my interest, but as soon as I started watching, I was disappointed. Now,I'll go back at the reason why I decided to write a review. The main actress is so irritating and she really doesn't know how to act. Her amateur acting spoiled the whole experience of the series for me and I still can't believe how they messed up the casting of the MAIN FEMALE ROLE. Isn't that the most importand job they had? The girl simply doesn't know how to act,she made her character unlikable with her lame facial expressions and that overshadowed the excellent work of the main male character and the story itself. And btw, the actress who plays the main female lead's mother looks like she is 5 years older than her.
Exclusive Fairytale (2023)
Nice acting of Ao Bo Xiong
I would have given a lower rating, but fl and the second male lead left a good impression on me and all the scenes with them were amusing, so I am leaving this rating. Unfortunately, there is so much wrong with this series. Fl and ml have been friends all their lives and when they get into a relationship, she asks him to tell his parents together that they are in a relationship. Of course, he doesn't do that, but tells his parents behind her back and together with them they plot how to get her to admit to everyone that they are together. Furthermore, they have been in a relationship for a couple of years and when she comes to a sleepover with him and his roommate, she makes her boyfriend sleep in another room. What the heck? And now the funnest part, they are engaged and she still avoids any physical contact with him and when they finally start being intimate, she acts as if she had a one night stand with some random guy, hides from him under the blanket and doesn't want to get up from bed so he can see her. Hahaha the series is about maturing, but it seems that the characters remain just as immature after high school and even after college.. the writers messed up the series a bit and are not really consistent about a lot of things. But overall, the series was interesting and humorous.
Gooreumi Geurin Dalbit (2016)
Wonder why 19 episodes and not 10 or 12? Because they spent 14 hours out of 19 on same old boring silence..
It was supposed be at least 9/10 but after first few exciting episodes, everything went downhill. I was so very excited when I started watching this drama cause it really had promising start. But like many other kdramas, they ruined this one too. In the beginning, the main actress was a silly, brave and interesting cheerful girl. After a few episodes, a complete transformation of her character. A dull, scared look replaced the happy smiles and it stayed like that until the end. That's one of the things that annoyed me the most. I don't even want to start commenting on how she spent her whole life unhappily, against her will, pretending to be a man for a very vague reason. Her mother left her for the same vague reason. But her real sorrow begins when she falls in love. Is that what the creators of this series wanted to tell the viewers? That love is misery and sorrow? Because since she fell in love, she became 100 times more miserable and sadder. At least if the romance was kind of intense, ok, I wouldn't complain, but even that romantic part of the series was boring and unconvincing with too many fake smiles. And yes, the main actor falls in love with a eunuch who is VERY OBVIOUSLY female and when he finds out that he is not male but female, his reaction is: oh, whatever. What?? So the prince is bisexual, OK, I have nothing against it, but why was she angry with him when he was happy that she was a woman after all? Hahaha they made fun of themselves with those things. The rating is 5 and not 2 only because of the acting of the male lead.
Gooreumi Geurin Dalbit: The Moment the Door of My Heart Opened (2016)
Always the same, they just had to ruin it
Why do korean dramas always have to ruin a good thing going? Why do they make it that way that every kdrama looks the same? When I started,I was thrilled because it was so good and funny and interesting. One of the few kdramas that aren't dead boring in the begining. And ofcourse, they have to ruin it at some point. I'm on episode 9,fast forwarding as female lead started to behave way out of the character,as kdrama makers always do. All fl do now is pouting and frowning. The comedy disappeared from the series VERY SUDDENLY. She wants him,in the next scene she doesnt want him. Again she wants him,in the next doesnt want him. Why do they keep repeating the same scenarios in every drama? Come on. Be original at least ONCE.
Otsomae Bolkeun Kkeutdong (2021)
Every episode is the same. 17 hours of nothing
Where did all the 10 rating come from. Did we watch the same drama? Why are you hyping it?
I've seen many great historical kdramas and I must say, this one is not one of them by far.
I really wanted to like it because I enjoy stories that are based on real events. Even if not the whole true, after all,it is a TV show.
What is more to say when you're watching and you start to wonder if your screen is frozen. That's how excessively slow it is.
And not to mention how they obviously had no idea what to make of the show but they were determined to drag it into 17 episodes long nothingness..
Almost every episode is about nothing. They had nothing important and interesting going on the whole time. Imagine that you watch 1 hour and 10 minutes but nothing happens. And than next episode exactly the same. And the next one.
Comedy is non-existant. Romance is dull and uncovincing.
Otsomae Bolkeun Kkeutdong: Lee San's Scheme (2021)
Are they serious
So,this drama has episodes that run for aprox. 1 hour and 12 minutes. That is almost the lenght of a movie. Imagine you are watching a movie for over an hour and apsolutely nothing is happening. This drama is hyped by kdrama lovers so I started watching today to see what's so great. And I'm stunned. But not in a good way. I dont know if anything will start happening and will it contain anything interesting but judging by what I've seen till now,I doubt. 1 hour and 12 minutes and all that they did and talked about was some silly apology letter. Over an hour about 1 insignificat letter? Are they insane? Why those kdrama writes love to make things soooo boooooring?
Ibeon Saengeun Cheoeumira (2017)
It was to be 10/10 but, they just had to ruin it as they always do
Because this is my first life started off great, like many other kdramas. And than, when you think you're gonna get something worth enduring so slooooow paced story, you get only dissapointment.
Theme of this drama was interesting and important and when I started to watch I was touched and felt many different emotions watching strugles of those young people who are scared that they are not young anymore. It was very promising and even though it was too slow and with many irrelevent elements,it was interesting and funny enough. That is until the last two episodes.
Whole story went down the drain in the last two episodes. Creators made two main leads do stupid things and act out of the their characters. She wanted love and when she found out that she got it,she decided to destroy it and hurt him deeply for apsolutely no reason. For those who think there is a reason for what she did than you know nothing about life.
Anyway,I hate to admit, but this is just another kdrama that I wasted my time on.
Hilleo (2014)
What's with the kdramas endings?
Amazing plot, amazing acting, even more amazing actors(especially Ji wook). They had perfect mix for an outstanding show. But,as most of the Korean dramas, they screwed the ending. I really dont get it. You had us on the edge for 19 episodes and than you end the show without showing us mother/daughter reunion, moon shiks's end and some other IMPORTANT stuff that should've have the conclusion. It's really frustrating to watch such an amazing show and wait for the climax and be left without it. I really hope that they'll stop rushing the ends in k dramas and left stories incomplete. It would've been 10/10 but the ending failed to deliver.
Byeol-e-seo on geu-dae (2013)
One of the worst kdramas.. i dont get the high rating..
21 hours of wasting your time. It started strong and very interesting. And there it ends. With every new episode show gets more boring and predictable. When I read the plot I thought,oh wow, something different. Boy was I wrong. It's like a romantic comedy with hot leads only it's not romantic and there is nothing funny about it. Every attempt of comedy is so painfully cringy and unwatchable. We have female lead who humiliates herself during entire show for a man who supposedly loves her but throughout entire show only insults her and makes her feel like a s**t. Skip it. Save your time. Wish someone told me that.
Hwan Hon (2022)
Season 2 is totally different from season 1
Ok, so the first season is so fantastic and interesting that I just can't understand how they managed to destroy something they put together so well. What a huge disappointment! The second season is not a continuation, but a completely different series. After 20 heart-wrenching episodes, in the new season we practically watch the main actor fall in love with a new character, making us feel disgusted with him too, because we all fell in love with mu-deok while watching her as the main character in first 20 episodes who is not there in the second season. And not only the different actor, but whole different charakter too.btw, I can put up with the slow pace and the fact that nothing happens in most of the episodes, but they made a second season in which there are only a series of frustrating scenes, it simply stops being watchable and I easily lost the will to watch the series which was fantastic at first.without almost any happy or hopeful scene, it's just a series of bad things happening. And all without the main actress. What a waste of a good story and our time.
Moonshot (2022)
Gotta love Cole
While Moonshot is not one of the best movies that I've seen,I gotta say that it had me smiling from the first minute to the last. Not laughing, but smiling. Cole is so weird and funny which is my favourite combination . He makes every character that he portrays-loveable. That for,I love to watch movies that has him in it . Stay always weird and funny. Hollywood needs more casual weirdos like you.
Malignant (2021)
8/10
Fun and entertaining movie. Finally watchable horror movie after quite some time now.
