Mama (2013)
Interesting take on the typical Ghost story
I saw this being rated a 6 out of 10 on here, so I wasn't expecting a hell of a lot, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good this movie was. It's pretty hard to find a genuinely good, creepy, scary movie and they're all the same cliched crap for the most part, so I found this movie great in that it was a pretty fresh approach to the malevolent ghost angle. There's obviously going to be a couple parts that could have been done better, but the visuals of 'Mama' were creepy as all hell. The thing that makes a good ghost movie good are the jumps, the anticipation and the visuals of the protagonist, and this movie clicks those boxes. Again, it's not Shakespeare, but it's not meant to be. I would definitely, definitely recommend this movie to anyone looking for a good, creepy ghost story. Definitely worth more than the 6/10.
Killing Eve (2018)
What's Sandra Oh's deal?
Such a good show, but why does Sandra Oh insist on almost every character in the show flirting with her or trying to sleep with her or implying she's sexy? Sometimes this great show is drowned by the noise of Oh's vanity.
Godless (2017)
Just terrible
I'm sure that a lot of people will disagree with me on this, but this is genuinely one of the worst shows I have ever watched. Started off strong, but it quickly, quickly declined into the most boring, dull, anti-climactic thing I've ever seen. Can not recommend this at all.
The Witcher (2019)
...huh?
I know this based off a video game, which I haven't played, but what in the hell is going on in this show? Convoluted, makes no sense and it's just dull. Only lasted 3 episodes before I just couldn't take anymore.
A.P. Bio (2018)
This show is funny, you're not
This show is hilarious, and if you don't find it funny, you're the one with no sense of humour. Sarcastic, biting and the comedic timing is classic. Glenn Howerton is freaking hilarious
