Very cute and wholesome. I think with some coaching most of these actors could be pretty good. The sets were fcute and the kids super-cute. I think only the actress playing Laura is a professional actress . But I really liked this movie! No potty humor, nice storyline, I really wanted to see how it would end. A lot of people gave it poor reviews but these lower budget movies are more like plays. No highly paid actors or special effects, just fun to watch like a play might be. I would definitely watch another filmby this company. No I am not relatex to anyone in it--I just like good wholesome stuff!

Well-written, entertaining for kids and adults. Interesting mysteries and characters with layers. I can't believe it only ran such a short time. Highly recommend this program.

More like a play than a movie. I liked the script and the actors. The only thing is the boy should have been a bit younger. He looked like 12 but obviously he was supposed to be younger, playing pirates, discussing Santa with school friends. I think kids might like to watch this with their parents. It reminded me of Secondhand Lions, the crazy uncle, the wild stories. Fun note, John Ford Coley who is a great singer plays a cop! I liked the singing by the cast at the end of the movie. Remember, it's fantasy and for kids. It's not a big budget movie for grown ups.

Imaginative show. Kind of like American show Pete and Pete. Is this stuff really happening? Is it all in Giles' mind? So funny you can't watch it without laughing outloud! Typical teen cliques and snobbery with an added jolt of supernatural zaniness. Don't miss it!

Flipper was as other reviewers stated very sweet, entertaining and sometimes educational. I remember having a crush on Sandy and on Porter. Even as a little girl who didn't know how to swim, I gladly entered Bud and Flipper's magical world. One other reviewer wrote about a lady singing a song, and I was actually looking for that song I think it is French, though. Shows like Flipper stretched my imagination. Later, as a short story writer, I can think back to my childhood and dream up fabulous situations; if a boy and his dolphin can have adventures then anything I can dream up is okay, too. Shows like this may have premises that stretched our imaginations but they also let kids be kids and the acting was so much better. People seemed more like three dimensional humans instead of caricatures. I vote 10 out of 10 for Flipper!
