Boruto: Naruto Next Generations: Genkai no saki e...!! (2020)
Disappointing end of Victor
Expected a lot from Victor, but sadly, his potential plans were put aside... and instead, we find him eaten by the tree itself. Why waste so many episodes just to show us that? Deepa suddenly getting overwhelmed by Boruto's Compression Rasengan is utter trash. So, the first one barely damaged Deepa and the 2nd one combining the power of Team 7 kills him? Yeah...good logic.
Stranger Things: Chapter Nine: The Gate (2017)
An Incredible Conclusion to the Superb Season!
Absolutely Incredible! Just a magnificent conclusion to an enticing season.
By the time, the ending credits rolled, I am amazed by how much the scale and conflict has been risen this year. And unlike the former season's heartbreaking ending, this time, we got a much more happier and satisfying epilogue.
The VFX team did a spectacular job making the Demogorgon and the Shadow Monster to look and feel much more menacing and dangerous, because seeing the Demodogs raining down as the Gate is closed by Eleven looks mind-blowing. The main cast was also so captivating to watch, especially, David Harbour as Jim Hopper and Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven made a great duo, though Mike, Dustin, Mrs. Byers, Will, Steve and the others were also superb. By the end, we also got a fulfilled promise of Mike made at the end of Season 1 to see the Snow Ball event on-screen.
Absolutely Hyped for Season 3!
Stranger Things: Chapter Eight: The Upside Down (2016)
"Goodbye Mike!" (dialog)
Eleven! El! El! Eleven! El, where are you? El! El!.......
And the tears that fell from Mike. Oh, what a emotional, heartbreaking & splendid conclusion to the first season it has been. Such sacrifice made by Eleven to protect his friends and especially Mike from the Demogorgon, just minutes after Mike confessed his love to Eleven and kissed her and watching Brenner, his papa meeting a tragic end, just rips the audience heart and shreds the joy of life into pieces.
The cast has done an enchanting work to bring the set-pieces much more sentimental but real at the same time. The twists and turns the episode has brought is a true masterpiece. David Harbour has also acted particularly well as Hopper bringing his character to life. The Duffer Brothers have really packed some shocking 50 minutes of horrifying masterwork.
And hopefully, Eleven is not vanished forever as we did get to see Hopper placing Eggos in a box, somewhere in a forest.
Obviously, waiting for the series to continue on...
Stranger Things: Chapter Eight: The Mind Flayer (2017)
The Most Mind Flaying Episode of the Series
Breathing...Just Breathing......What an epic showdown has this episode been.
From the doctors to the servants to our favorite Bob, everyone of them faced terrific consequences when the Demo dogs (a treat from Dustin) began to invade the Hawkins Lab.
Starting events from the epilogue of Episode Six, the Demo-dogs did bring havoc as Will, who was also being tortured by the shadow monster to act as the spy, tried to warn Joyce and Mike. As the invasion begins, the lab looses electricity and Bob reluctantly takes the job of getting power back on. The cinematography and camera work is played skillfully here as it moves from one screen to the other seamlessly.
However, when the system reboots and they try to escape, Bob is hunted by the Demogorgon and is ultimately killed off. Such shocking gory death makes me heart-broken. And Will, who is still possessed, tactfully communes with Mike, Joyce and Hopper via Morse code which both gives a hint to the first meeting with Mike and Will and also shows the highlight of the talented young actors' acting displays.
And the last bit of spoiler, Eleven aka Jane's quest really pays off as she reunites with Mike, Hopper and the others. What more can one want from an episode! Just fantastic!!
