The Simpsons: Lisa the Skeptic (1997)
Season 9 part 2 Lisa the skeptic
Now it's time to look at the most frustrating episode of season 9 which is Lisa the skeptic. The whole angle v. skeleton thing is so stupid that it will lower your IQ by infinity points just thinking about it, and the ending about capitalism is more of a jump than fonzie jumping the shark. The town is also very mean spirited. So much so that they arrest Lisa, A SEVEN YEAR OLD for supposedly stealing the fossil, even though it was on a hill that they could easily see through the window. This is the second worst episode of season 9. This is the episode that rivals the splinter from spongebob. But this isn't the worst episode of season 9, but this piece of horse crap is definitely bottom ten material.
The Simpsons: Miracle on Evergreen Terrace (1997)
Review of miracle on evergreen terrace
Out of all of the season 9 episodes, this is probably the weakest. I ended up being bored and frustrated at the same time. It can also get confusing at times, like when the relationship with the family and the town goes from on again to off again to on again to off again. It just lead to an absolute mess, and the message of 'enjoy the things you have' is so cheesy and over done. Over all this episode contains one of the three worst things about season 9 , which is boaringness, frustration, and disgustingness. I tackled boaringness here, and I will be discussing the other two when I go into the other two episodes on my hit list, so for now I give this episode a 2/10.
The Simpsons: Behind the Laughter (2000)
My second favorite Simpsons episode
Behind the laughter is my favorite season 11 episode in a season that is filled with crap and mediocrity (I'll get to kill the alligator and run at some point) but this episode is the outlier here, and here is why. A lot of what I like about this episode is that the family breaks their characters which may seem like a bad thing, but this is for good because of the genre change from sit-com to documentary. The fact that this is parodying the vh1 show behind the music is so cool and funny, and the fact that the family is shown as real people instead of cartoon characters is very odd but also very fitting. Now the episode isn't perfect, what Marge does after the break up of the family is very hard to explain, but cringe worthy at best, and the reunion was a little thin but it is still a pleasant watch.
But what you should watch this for is Jimmy Carter break dancing.
The Simpsons: I Love Lisa (1993)
The best episode of the Simpsons (in my opinion)
This is by far my favorite episode of the Simpsons ever, and here is why, first off I think that the jokes are very funny, I will never forget the mediocre presidents song, and the terminator reference make me laugh really hard . We also see that Ralph actually has character outside of LOL IDIOT which is disregarded in later seasons. The episode also has some very heartwarming scenes in it, and makes us care about the characters. This is the best episode ever of the Simpsons, and I recommend people to watch in if they haven't.
