Chemical Cut (2016)
This is a great film
I don't think I can accurately portray through words what this film meant to me. It was an emotional ride. I really felt for the characters, it was mostly an intense emotional connection that was indescribable. I first heard of this when I was in Chicago on a trip and saw posters on the street. The posters looked really well drawn, and it was like a book: you see a GREAT IMAGE and you want to see more. I couldn't find anything for a long time, maybe two years. I found it on Amazon recently and really enjoyed this. I laughed, cried, and as a man this is rare.
I can tell you it's a very unique film I have never seen anything like this before. So, if you are into a film that will make you think about qualities of life, and better appreciate film as an art, you will very likely enjoy this. I don't know if a physical copy is available anywhere, but if there is, I want to buy one.
The Greasy Strangler (2016)
Good film with a lot of grease
There's no telling how much you will like this film if you aren't into anything weird. The film itself can be described as subtly greasy, and you'll leave the theater (or your home) feeling a little of the same sensation. It was a good experience and I enjoyed the soundtrack that was like Napoleon Dynamite. It was really very good from a group in the UK, but I forget who they are. You will enjoy this and I can almost guarantee it.
The Godfather (1972)
REALLY good film about gangsters from Classic New York City
The general synopsis of this film without making a huge SPOILER is that there are a bunch of gangsters who are trying to take over NYC. They have a lot of fights between themselves and they end up in lots of tension. The tension is so real that you'll have to brace yourself and have REGULAR intermissions to take an emotional break from the violence. The ONLY spoiler I will reveal is that, let me tell you, you're in for a wild ride. If you are into gore, this is a wonderful, wonderful feature length film and I would highly recommend it. Especially if you are into the classic varieties of films like myself, the ones from the era of transition into color televisions that allow for a much more real and vivid experience!
