Halloween Kills (2021)
Hopefully the franchise ends here.
This movie made an entire town (not just one or two people) but the entire town a complete senseless hillbilly like the type of people you see on TikTok.
They set out on a movie long manhunt for Michael Myers and it's not even Michael Myers! It's some other looney from the nuthouse Michael was living in from the previous movie.
I mean, they're all apparently traumatised by this man in their own ways and storylines yet no idea what he looks like but are determined this guy is Myers. Granted the beast wears a mask, but the person they set out for is this old short guy. Michael is old now, but built like a brick house. The body type alone is an OBVIOUS sign that it's not him. This alone infuriated me so much that I felt I needed to mention it in depth on a god damn review but it honestly shows what Hollywood thinks of Americans. Lacking any common sense and jump on a witch hunt the second someone says 'equal rights' mind blowing.
An hour and half of wasted cinema with virtually zero horror - literally the entire movie is nothing more than a hillbilly town man hunt movie. I'm clashing it as a new movie genre. One that I hope to never have to endure again.
Safe yourself the time and energy and watch LITERALLY anything else.
Drag Me to Dinner (2023)
Huh?
Seems very overproduced and something about the show doesn't hit the spot.
The concept of the show is amazing. I've always wanted a 'Come Dine With Me' drag show but I think it should be like this you sit everyone down and the cameras follow the guests more than the cooking side of it.
A couple of things that don't hit the spot below though as if they cleaned up a few things, it could be an amazing show;
1 The David guy doesn't sit well as just seems to be there for literally no reason and brings nothing to the show.
2 Neil Patrick Harris feels like he was placed in the show for some reason. Not sure what that reason was.
3 The Murray host's voice grates on the ears.
4 Camera needs to focus on the guests and not on the "cooking".
5 The whole back of house stuff is awkward and crap too. Like, c'mon.
Eli (2019)
What A Twist
Wow! What a twist! I wasn't sold on the trailer so I watched solely on the fact it has Lili Taylor in the movie (The Haunting, 1999) and I'm glad I did. It wasn't face paced. It wasn't slow. It kept at a steady pace.
There could've been a few scary moments or at least a jump scene or two. Overall - I liked it.
Slender Man (2018)
Just give up.
Whoever made this movie and thought it was good enough to release to the public, just give up.
Probably the worst movie I have ever seen in my life.
I gave two stars because I felt bad for the actors as they have to try and comeback from this.
Star Wars: Battlefront (2015)
Hands down....
This game is hands down the best and only good thing about the Star Wars franchise. From the furry moaning man to the little green hobbit.
Play this game if you've not had the chance already.
Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017)
It broke my heart
Well, where do I begin.
Star Wars: Battlefront was the best game I've ever played and I got addicted. Seriously addicted. I was a man possessed from about two weeks after launch (friends told me about it and got it then to give them a game online) and it was NON STOP since the sequel was released.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is the the worst game I've played and ever spent my hard earned dollar on. It was £120 in total I spent for the best version available with all the extras. It broke my heart as I was so obsessed with the first one that I believed in and trusted EA / Dice with the future of this franchise to make another game for me and many others to be obsessed with. They were the biggest let down in world history and that includes when my mother found out I was going to be a boy (she wanted another girl).
Save your money, time and disappointment.
