Brahmastra Part One: Shiva (2022)
Detailed Review
Watch it in 2-D this is for most of the Indian cinemas, not IMAX.
The story was okaish, there weee parts where you could say that the base concepts weee taken from legendary movies, e.g., Harry Potter, Marvel, etc. But still they managed to hide it up quite well.
The acting was not upto the mark, Alia's acting was not at all upto the standards. Nagaarjun's was also weak, Shahrukh's acting was not at all suited to a super hero movie. Only Amitabh Bacchan sir did a decent job in acting.
The dialogues were below average, it seemed like the dialogues were written by an immature intern whom they didn't even pay properly so he took revenge😅.
The VFX was good and some fighting scenes were too good. This was the biggeat positive from the movie.
Overall the story setup was not good, as they wanted to show so many characters in 1 movie so they were not able to extract the full potential out of any character. If the did the ground work for each character then ot would have been better. But still, one time watch film and also looking forward to Part 2.
Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1 (2021)
Must watch
The acting performance of the actors were great in most aspects but emotional acting of both Allu Arjun and Rashmika sucked.
The action sequence in the movie seemed to be excellent but were not at all made to look realistic.
Otherwise, dialogues were awesome, dance was awesome, swag was extremely applaudable.
Before the introduction of Shekhawat, the movie seemed to be ending and suddenly they introduced the new character, I felt that the transition between this introduction made it look like it was forcibly done, the flow of the movie got disrupted due to this thing (for me).
Everything else seemed pretty awesome.
It was a must watch movie for 12 to any age.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005)
Not so great movie
It was a nice movie overall.
The acting was nice but the story was a bit unsettling.
The action was also not very much realistic, also the direction of the action scenes seemed to be running fast as there were no clear points of contact(between the bullets and the person) visible. The movie was all about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, the makers didn't worry about other things in detail.
It seemed pretty unsettling that both of them (John and Jane) didn't realize until 5 or 6 years that they were spies.
There were many such problems associated with the movie but it is a one-time time pass movie.
Eye in the Sky (2015)
Brilliant
Absolutely amazing in every sense, the acting, direction, true to reality. One of the best war-thriller movies. Couldn't find any flaws or issues with it.
A must-watch movie, it might be somewhat emotional for most of the audience.
Behen Hogi Teri (2017)
Worthless
The story was not at all convincing. The transitions between the dialogues seemed a bit off like they didn't actually connect but the directors(or writers) forced the dialogues to look connected. The acting of Rajkumar Rao was nice but every other actor actually over-acted. The story was predictable and was stretched a lot without a cause, directors(or producers) didn't actually put a thought while making the movie they just wanted to make a film whether it is good or not.
Not at all worth the time, in my opinion, this movie can easily be missed.
The Imitation Game (2014)
Masterpiece
A pure masterclass movie. The acting was too good , also the direction was also very nice, I personally didn't find any problems with the acting, story, direction or anything else.
A must watch.
Army of Thieves (2021)
So So movie.
A time-pass movie, the story was not up to the mark. It seemed they were in quite a hurry while making this movie, as there was no explanation regarding the planning of the heist(s) and abruptly in the end they showed the expected thing to make the movie virtually complete but it was not.
One time watch but not a fan of it.
Promising Young Woman (2020)
NICE MOVIE
Overall nice movie, acting, dialogues were nice, but the direction seemed a little bit confusing, as there were times in the movie when we thought something really bad had happened but nothing actually happened, those scenes were either unnecessary got the character they were trying to build in the end or those scenes were just to gain attention.
Unlike most of the movies, this movie seemed to be realistic which is why I like this movie and anyone would actually enjoy this movie.
Chehre (2021)
Detailed Review
Acting- 2.5/4
Dialogue- 1/2
Story- 2/3
Direction- 0.4/1
1. Shukar h ab maza aayega - 11:04 (the presentation or expression of the dialogue didn't make any sense )
2. Initially, Ana's strange laugh didn't make any sense but at the end after she revealed she went to a mental hospital it made a sense that she laughed in a peculiar way-18:40,1:47:00
3. Ana's and Mr. Mehra's encounter in front of the mirror was far too stretched and was not at all required
4. Mr. Mehra's explanation of his ex-boss's character in an disturbingly angry manner doesn't make sense 52:40
5. Natasha's drunk woman acting was not at all good it seems made up and as if she was trying but not able to delivery her part. Too immature acting on her behalf
6. Ana informing Mr. Mehra about ironing his pant and then showing him to the room again doesn't make sense as he already knows the way to the room 1:24:51
7. The prosecutor's closing statement was too much melodramatic, if they wanted the movie to look more original then the closing statement should have been more lawfully planned
8. The confidence that Mr. Mehra had from the beginning despite the fact that he had actually assisted in a murder was unsettling.
Overall, the movie was good and it will be worth your time but the there were some problems associated with it. The director could have made it perfect if given some more time.
Shershaah (2021)
Nice
A nice movie overall but not a unique one, I know it is based on real-life but it is not exactly a real-life story they have added some fictitious points to it, that's why they could have also added something unique or new or different.
Since it is an army-based movie therefore acting was not seen by most people. The main focus is on the direction which was good but not up to the mark, it felt like they were trying to rush the movie, and also fighting scenes could have been more realistic.
Most of the people will not agree with my review but it is what I feel about the movie and I believe the movie could have been better.
Finally, one could watch the movie and will come out with no regret in most cases.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)
Good
The movie was not much scary but the story was based on real-life which is why one(if one is into this genre) should watch it. You will enjoy the acting and direction part. Overall a nice movie to watch.
Horrible Bosses (2011)
Nice movie
A good time-pass movie with not much sense in the story but it is somewhat funny. The characters in the movie are good and the overall cast is nice. Overall, a nice movie to watch but if have not seen it then you probably have missed nothing much.
Bandish Bandits (2020)
Love it!
Watch this and you'll love Indian Classical music. Can't complain about anything. Acting was top class, direction was good and story was awsome. After watching it one will see what is determination, honesty, focus and this is much more about what one AIM in their life.
Dark (2017)
"Everthing is connected"
Dark is one of the most thriller tv series ever made. The plot was exceptionally well written and displayed, each and every tiny details were kept in mind while making it. One should watch all 3 seasons, which proves "Everything is connected". Dark is really a must watch and there is no way one should skip it.
