Im Westen nichts Neues (2022)
Old but great story, foreshadowing Ukraine
You see both sides of war. Youthful positive naïve optimism and then death, loss, due to poor war mongering vendictive leadership. A young German is persuaded to join the German army in WW1. Persuaded by propaganda, soon realizing the loss of friends, nothing to eat, and mass death due to poor leadership then becomes a race to stay alive. Military Friendship turns to loss. Ultimately shows you that the French are even more worse than German leadership. Similar US/EU supporters/backing of Ukraine seems a likely outcome. Makes you really wish the US policy was not fighting Russia until the last Ukrainians.
Hacksaw Ridge (2016)
There's a flamethrower
The second spiderman is the main character who plays a religious forest gump (who is probably the best actor in this film). He's tormented by the guy from Avatar and the other guy from wedding crashers who are both his commanding officers in boot camp who with the rest of the soldiers beat him and then threaten court marshal because he's a 7th day adventist and wants Saturday off and refuses to handle weapons. His father played by the bad red colred guy from Captain America saves him from a court Marshal by using his ww1 connection. Following the forest gump plot he marries his hometown beautiful jenny while he goes to fight the japs in WW2. Hes successful as a combat medic. The end.
Operation Mincemeat (2021)
Fantastic military operation, subpar movie
Operation Mincemeat movie did for the documentary what the Lords of Dogtown movie did for the Dogtown documentary, fall flat and miss the mark. After watching the Operation Mincemeat documentary which may have been one of the best made WW2 documentaries the movie although cast very well was otherwise disappointing. And of course true to Hollywood and globalist politicians they had to unnecessarily inset "Russia" as a bad guy. However a positive was at least there was no gender politics.
The Accountant (2016)
Rainman +Kill Bill = john wick
Rainman's Charlie Babbitt-esq character is an accountant played by Ben Afflak. As a asperger child his father has him trained like Beatrice Kiddo in kill bill to become an autistic John Wick. So when this non-eye contact socially awkward has a Beautiful Mind like mathematical moment and discovers a 'the fugitive' type fraud and attempted coverup Ben goes full John Wick.
Kill Chain: The Cyber War on America's Elections (2020)
Voting machines are easily rigged
Watch a documentary on the history and ease of rigging voting machines . This documentary initially made on the heels of russia hoax but is a blueprint for future hacking and rigging elections in the USA.
Atomic Blonde (2017)
Best action movie since Total Recall
Soundtrack, cinematography are 10/10. This film put this director David Letich in the same class as Depalma, Scorsese and. Copolla. This film is not a non believable, woke marvel production but rather a blast from the past 80s John Wick style punch in the mouth.
Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013)
Watchable
It's not Schindler's list. But mindless awesomeness.
