Watchmen: This Extraordinary Being (2019)
Very boring episode
Unfortunately the whole episode is wasted on boring flashback memories of Angela's grandfather. They could have accomplished catching up on on this stuff with about 10 minutes of the show and then had plenty of time left for something interesting to happen.
See: Godflame (2019)
Ridiculous premise.
Bad enough to make yet another post apocalypic show about ignorant, superstitious tribes, but this time they are blind. Truly the most moronic show I have ever seen.
Black Summer (2019)
The first episode gave me hope it might be a good show... but no.
Ty Olsson is the only actor I like in the show and he dies in the first episode. The gets worse with each episode. By the fourth episode I could force myself to watch any more. Worst show I have ever seen in Netflix sorry to say.
Day of the Dead: Bloodline (2017)
Horrible with nearly no redeaming qualities.
First, many reviews of this talk about a remake of Day of the Dead. I don't believe this is a remake, but just a movies taking advantage of a well known name. I have seen the original as well as at least one remake and this movie doesn't resemble them at all.
Next, most of the acting is this movie is terrible. The lead actress Sophie Skelton was the only one that was even kind of good. The terrible dialog made her seem less talented than she is. I know she is better because I have seen her in other things such as Outlander where she was much better.
Lastly, the blood spray effects when people are bitten or ridiculous. Unless everyone's blood pressure was 1200/800 instead of 120/80, no one would spray blood like they were a balloon popping. Some of the other effects were ok, but nothing special.
For the guys out there, the one thing this type of movie usually has is a few hot girls showing off their assets, but this movie even fails there. If not for the gore, it might as well have been rated PG. At least if you skip the beginning and ending credits, it only wastes about 82 minutes of your life.
