The Wrong House (2016)
The Quintessential Lifetime Movie
This movie is EXACTLY what I am looking for when I turn on the Lifetime Movie Network.
The acting is bad, the plot was ridiculous, and it was an absolute joy to watch from beginning to end. Watching movies is a temporary escape from reality. They are a chance for us to forget about our own problems for a short time. The problem with high quality movies is that you sometimes get so invested in the characters' problems- that it almost isn't an escape at all.
That is not a problem with a movie like this. It's entertaining. It keeps me watching. But it is so unrealistic and absurd that your blood pressure will never budge.
Sending pizza to someone's house as a means of harassment? Then Chinese food? Then an exterminator! Lol. The author must have begun working on this as a 6th grade project. I love how instantaneous the murders are in the movie. A single stab to the back and the cop is dead before he hits the ground. And how the murderer just continues on without a care of ever being caught.
Btw: I absolutely love how every main character on Lifetime movies lives in a 5 to 10 million dollar mansion. Even single moms with waitressing jobs. When they show someone who is supposed to be lower class- they live in a house that probably goes for only $2 million.
I can't get enough of these movies!
