Wakaalat from Home (2020)
Review from home
Don't read too many reviews, don't put it off for later. Watch this show right now. This smart comedy is very breezy and episodes are perfectly paced. It seems like something very novel from above but at the core it's as classic as your Dekh Bhai Dekhs and Sarabhai vs Sarabhai. Very well written and 75% of the the actors were good. Do watch the credits.
The most special concept is. Earlier videos and series on YouTube have been shot at home. Much has been seen during the lockdown as well.
But the new series of Amazon Prime Video has served this concept in a completely different way. Nowhere do you think it was shot at home.
Anubhav Pal's writing is also excellent. It is also special that in the series there is no opportunity to do more than writing.
It is very difficult to produce situational comedy in front of the camera without moving. The comedy itself is quite a difficult genre.
His writing brings a lot of standup feeling, which also laughs according to jokes' timing and punch.
Wakaalat from Home web series is shortened. An episode in a series of 10 episodes is 15 minutes. In this case it does not put a load on you.
Working on the new concept in lockdown is a big thing in itself. However, you will see some drawbacks after this.
It also has the merit of actors, who have technically given such a good performance. Nidhi Singh (Radhika) and Sumit Vyas (Shujin) have previously appeared together in permanent roommates.
There is a flow in the acting of both. Sometimes you may find Nidhi Singh's acting mildly over.
Kubra Sait (Rajni) is back with absolutely fresh acting. Kubra's Flow breaks in a few episodes in between.
But the most noticed among all this is Gopal Dutt in the character of Lobo Tripathi. He has looked absolutely natural.
Rohan's direction is also correct. Have managed to use small things. Wakaalat From Home web series is the great effort of Anubhav Pal and Rohan Sippy.
Wakaalat from Home series is a good comedy web series. The early episodes are going to make you laugh a lot. There will be a slight lockdown in the middle. But in the end, the laughter is unlocked once again

Awesome concept
After long time I have seen something awesome things, I love this series and wish to see more sometime like that.
Love to see Abhay Deol on screen again , he is really superb actor.
First time an Indian movie represents the proper Physics (Time travel & it's side effects) and intelligently connect it with Indian mythology. A must watch web series for all Physics lovers. Personally I love this series. Director did a good research on every shots. Beside the core Physics, he may be inspired by Bearmuda Triangle incidents.

Father is only one who denie own desire for child . A father is always like a joker,,,, whatever life will force to do he will do only for his child . This movie is very well written and everything is different from typical bollywood film. All actors have given brilliant performance . It's content which are appriciable . Music also does well . Plz watch it u will worth it.
Parchhayee: Ghost Stories by Ruskin Bond (2019)
Extremely disappointed
Ruskin Bond is a great author but here the video version of the story ruined everything. Please avoid watching this series if you don't want to spoil your free time, watch anything else instead.
Pathetic display of good stories. Zee5 should stop producing more episodes. I wonder how bad a direction can be, when actors are good.

Breath of Fresh Air and Fun watch
The concept is new. Actors are versatile. Totally gripping story with light dose of humor.
Very nicely done. Simple sober and funny! Would love to recommend this for a one time watch.
Churails (2020)
Hats off to all the Churails.
The direction, storyline and acting were topnotch. It can be easily compared with any other international webseries. Thank you Zee5 for providing your platform to Pakistani directors and storytellers. Just one word for CHURAILS-SUPERB.
Pareeksha (2020)
Dur
To be fair, director Prakash Jha's Pareeksha is a well-intentioned film that has its heart in the right place. But the film has a combination of an outdated script and shrill TV-soap treatment that you'd seen in the 80s.
Prakash Jha's cinema has always illustrated harsh realism in a transfixing and riveting manner. Pareeksha has a lot to say, but the predicament is, what translates on the screen is not razor-sharp. But, of course, there are few defining moments in the movie.
A Prakash Jha film is talked about for more reasons than one. It provides food for thought and sets you thinking. But Pareeksha merely touches the tip of the iceberg. The writer creates a non-believable situation. Moreover, the screenplay is repetitive. Pareeksha moves along at snail's pace. It tackles an interesting topic but doesn't make much of an impact. It's a shame because some things in the film do work. The biggest drawback is that the climax tries too hard to throw a hard punch, but fails miserably.
Although Pareeksha has noble intentions, it could have been a gripping fare had director Prakash Jha tackled the subject more realistically. Barring a few sequences, it lacks the power to keep you glued. On the brighter side, the acting is distinguished. Pareeksha gets very real at times, but gets ludicrous as well. Adil Hussain gives a completely new dimension to this character. The role is tailor-made for him. Priyanka Bose has an equally challenging part and she handles her scenes with complete understanding. Sanjay Suri is a complete natural, as always. Pareeksha offers Shubham Jha several difficult sequences, which the child actor carries off with flourish.
To sum up, Pareeksha runs out of steam midway. Its noble intentions notwithstanding, the film is a real slog. This could well turn out to be one of the year's most forgettable films.

Dark Murder Mystery...Indian Cinema is Evolving..!!!
Indian cinema has undergone transition recently. Recognition of character actors, experimenting directors and writers has brought a long awaited pleasant change. The movie is a great representation of all that.
Positives: Solid casting, no big names yet powerful and suitable actors chosen. Nawazuddin, Radhika, Tigmanshu and many more are all one of the finest actors in India and they definitely deliver a punch. Story although a bit Poirotesque but still beautifully written. The slow build culminating into a big finale is crafted with precision. May be inspired by Agatha Christie's style where everyone is a suspect, but still the suspense is created and kept me guessing till the very end. The curtain raiser we had, I never saw it coming. The love story woven into a murder mystery may sound Bollywoodish but that doesn't derail the plot.
Negatives: The songs had no place in the movie and seemed a bit out of place. They tried to do Gangs of Wasseypur here by even going with off beat and classical lyrics, but things did not click.
Conclusion Good thriller and a right step into right direction by Indian cinema. Time to recognise good actors and movie-plots rather than going for spicy formula and celebrity actors.
Your Honor (2020)
Clever father and bull son
The story of the web series is good but the screen play is very slow. The real story has a lot to start with
