Takeshi's Castle (2023)
Just horrible
The show has spoiled all our childhood memories by Bhuvan's horrible and senseless commentary. Prime video need better decision makers while choosing the correct commentator for their show. Bhuvan has completely spoiled it by blabbering non sense and have made the show completely unwatchable with commentry turned on. The jokes don't even land, feels completely like a forced task to enact his own stupid character which doesn't match the show even by 1%.
Javed Jafri aka JJ is truly an unmatchable legend. We have realised his value more after seeing someone else trying to replace him. I wish prime video launched a JJ version of the same or at least sign him up for the upcoming seasons.
Yatri Kripya Dhyan De (2022)
Nonsense
I watched it because Amazon was repeatedly showing me the ad to watch it in its app. It turned out to be absolute crap with 2 ads of 30 seconds in between. Not recommending at all to anyone. The story makes no sense.
LOL - Hasse Toh Phasse (2021)
Not sure about others but I loved it
One of a unique show that will make you laugh throughout and all wonder how the contestants managed not to laugh for 6 hours😂
A must watch show at least once in life time.
Basta (2021)
Nice concept, music but bad scripting
The movie has a beautiful message to be shared with the community but it lacked the required seriousness given the topic. Moreover the script could have been far better than it is and the seriousness should have been.maintained.till the end. Even the parts that were meant to be funny are not that great. Overall an average watch, but great music and concept, so rating 7.
Ludo (2020)
Don't go with 1 star dumb people's reviews
This movie is the best movie I've watched in 2020 at least. Best acting, music, editing, action, comedy. All in one package. And definitely heart touching!
Not gonna give spoilers since this movie is worth watching with the least amount of known spoilers. But definitely a roller coaster ride, with turns at every moment.
A very detailed movie I must say! Must give a watch... :)
Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story (2020)
The series brings up more than just Harshad's story...
At first when I finished watching the series, I was very disappointed the way Harshad was only targetted by Sucheta Dalal, but later after watching many other videos on Youtube and reading people's views and comments, I am fully convinced why this series is what it is! It not only tells you how smart Harshad was, but also how biased Sucheta is, and how she supported the "Bears" (maybe got bribed who knows), and how they all together targetted just Harshad, which resulted to poor man's death. Ironically according to Sucheta, only Harshad's money was India's taxpayers money, and not the bear gang's or Citi banks. Rest of the fraudsters are still alive and living with luxury because of biased nature of Sucheta and that clearly came up to the audience with the series.
There is a scene in the series, where Harshad's wife asks Sucheta on face regarding the terrorist and politicians, what about their crimes and all? If the journalists really had balls of exposing the real truth of the country, why couldn't they ever expose the dirty politicians? And now in 2020, why are most of them licking feets of the politicians and hiding the real country issues?
Not only a very perfectly put up series, but also bringing up to the viewers... the hidden scamsters, biasedness of TOI and Sucheta and her partner.
Great work team! :)
Indian Matchmaking (2020)
8 episodes long advertisement of Sima's business
This show is definitely not the depiction of actual Indian matchmaking. It mostly focused on making matches of NRIs who didn't even live in India, just had ancestors of Indian origin. And the ones they showed from India were actually rich families whose kids simply owned a business that their parents created for them. The title should have been "NRI matchmaking" or "Sima's matchmaking business".
As other reviews are correctly pointing out, the ending was horrible. After showing so many matchmaking meetings, none of the matches ended up marrying.
Coming to actual Indian matchmaking, it actually happens at organised events for the same and it's not a "business" in the country.
Misleading title, improper ending, maximum focus on NRIs - it was mostly a marketing of business. Totally disappointed!
Person of Interest (2011)
The best TV show in the human history
I bet no show is ever gonna be better than this one.
Girlz (2019)
Ending is disappointing
The movie almost reaches to a good end, but I am disappointed with its ending, and so are other reviewers I feel.
The movie takes a good shape and turn and there should be lessons for both parents and child. But it only focused on mistake of parents and not the other way round. The movie may disappoint you if you haven't watched.
Four More Shots Please! (2019)
Not sure why so much hate from others
I don't know if people are just hating the show for its story line or the intimate scenes. But in my personal opinion I would say the show makers have just put the reality of today's world in those 10 episodes. It shows how life turns out bad for people and we in reality only judge somebody for being bad without knowing the background, the real reason. I'm rating this show 10/10 not only because it shows the reality but also because there's a lot of thinking that why behind this show. (Spoilers coming) how could someone even come with that concept of Truck bar 😂 and then fuse up a light out of its logo and make it something else.
Overall the show lights up on the modern problems, but I think it would be better if the show comes up with a sequel where they would show modern solutions to these problems, and this time definately with a happy ending :)
Kudos to the team! Great work :)
Vir Das: For India (2020)
One of the best performances in the history of Indian comedians
For an Indian who's away from home, this would be a completely relatable act - full of historical incidents and dark humour as well.
The best part is the way Vir has connected the dots from the very beginning till the very last moment.
Cheers to Old monk and Parle-G :)
Flames: Aane Wala Pal Jaane Wala Hai (2019)
This episode will make you cry
That's all I can say...
A very emotional and saddening episode that will break your heart.
Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018)
Bad lesson to take
The movie gives a bad impression by prioritising selfishness over friendship.
The female character is too selfish, definately not a kind of person anybody world like to face.
Total Dhamaal (2019)
Only Maanav is continuing the legacy
Maanav (Javed Jaffrey) is the only character among all of them who has actually retained his charm, personality and humour. Rest all characters are either boring or changed a bit than their actual character in Dhamaal. Story has repeated few scenes which will make you feel like you're watching a remake of the first movie. One time watch, yet not recommended if you expect continuous fun.
