I understand not understanding this movie, but I don't understand the hate it's getting. This is truly a special movie. You WILL be confused until the very end and even then you may not get it. That's the point of it. If that's not your thing, turn back now.

Once you get a grasp on the story, this movie becomes even better. This isn't even a movie; this is art.

For anyone saying this acting is "horrible", that simply isn't true. For anyone saying the script is bad, read more books. For anyone saying the plot doesn't make any sense, read The Crucible.

The acting was phenomenal, the story was dark, the suspense was high. Anyone rating this movie a 1 quite literally doesn't understand the basics of a movie.

I've heard this movie was "one of the best horror anthologies" I've seen critics i trust give this movie a 4/5. This movie doesn't even deserve a 1.

This movie was obviously written by someone who's never written a scary moment in a movie. All the director could think about when writing this movie was boobs, sex, and children watching sex.

This movie is laughable, 30 minutes of this movie could be easily cut for wasted time. The ending is an insult to the viewers intelligence. The writer tries to loosely jam all 4 stories together in the stupidest way possible.

Please skip this movie. I rented it for $3 and I will be mad about wasting my money forever.

This script sucks, the acting is subpar from certain individuals. The movie is way too fast paced, the ending is annoying.

I mean the suspense and gut wrenches work, but the story/plot/ending/script all suck.

I can't give a well made, though provoking movie a 1. but I can give it a 3 if the ending sucks and the movie is drawn out and way too on the nose.

This movie was creepy, but it was also really drab. The brightest scene in the movie is the last one. The cinematography was good but off put by the lighting.

The script is fine, the acting (especially by the kid) was good. But it was lacking a certain atmosphere that other A24 films give off. I still suggest it if you're looking for a short horror movie.

It's obviously well done, well thought out, and well made. But i don't get it. I don't understand the point. it's not a shocking movie. The Hills Have Eyes is more f'ed up than this. but it is a movie, it's original, and it's well made. that alone is better than most films these days.

either way, ignore the reviews and watch it yourself. it's an experience to be had, and i think it's supposed to be not enjoyed.

My only complaint about this movie is that the whole thing could've been avoided if she just pulled out her phone and recorded anything at all. Otherwise, good acting, good twists, spooky atmosphere, some nice jump scares.

Although it's not without flaws, this movie is fun as all hell and can be terrifying at times. It's got it's bumps and the acting/cinematography is nothing but passable, but the storytelling is enough to bring this thing to a solid 8.

This is genuinely one of the creepiest/suspenseful movies i've seen in a long time. I've never had a movie make me tense up so much from start to near finish.

Let's dispel some complaints i've seen. I've seen reviews complaining about acting which i simply don't understand. the acting was objectively good. i've also seen reviews complain about the origin/creature being a mystery. THATS THE POINT. that's what makes the movie extra eerie.

I've also seen reviews complain about the movie getting boring, or the monster becoming less scary. that's also the point. you start to feel the main character's complacency. it starts to feel normal even though it's the opposite.

overall, it seems most of the negative reviews watched this movie in the background without paying attention. this is easily one of the best horror movies of the 2010s.

Not what you might think. Give it a shot. If you don't laugh or smile during this experience, you're a monster.

This show has some of the best writing in modern TV. Along with having some interesting regular cases, the show follows law students caught up in a murder case. They show you exactly what happens through flashbacks but they fail to give you the full story until the last episode. This show keeps you on your toes and keeps you guessing every episode. It can be a little too political and sometimes it breaks from reality, but that doesn't stop it from being damn entertaining.

Either way - watch the whole show. It's still good TV. Seasons 1-7 are incredibly good, with interesting cases and heartfelt character driven episodes. The problem came with actors having contract issues or getting kicked off the show entirely. The writing is still really solid but it gets too messy in the later seasons.

This show is the best comedy, best drama, and best detective show all at once. It is funny all the time, but strictly serious when it needs to be. No other show has made me laugh as hard as Psych does. Do yourself a favor and give this show a chance.

There's not much i can say about this show other than its just so damn funny. One of two shows that have ever made me consistently laugh out loud multiple times an episode.

The first season is nothing but laughs, but the later seasons begin to focus on character development and relationships with one another. So if you feel the show doesn't have enough depth to it, just you wait.
