actually the film had some interesting story lines. casting was wrong, Farrah playing a young babe was mutton dressed like lamb, she clearly does have some thing , but playing a young middle aged sex goddess probably expired by 1990. I feel they should have changed the storyline and made her a has been successful movie star trying to make a comeback, utilise some of her character acting abilities and explore the insecurities of a women who had it all and now faces a ageist community like Hollywood which remembers stars for their more famous roles, like Charlie's angels "closer to half a century ago". The rhythm of the feel was indecisive, and did not do the book justice. I wish someone would give me half the money to make a film like this - with the story lines , budget , actors the final delivery is SO disappointing.

i started to get worried when he started making films like "war of the worlds" did Spielberg really make that i wonder?? i liked Munich very much, i liked the length, i was worried before watching it as to "blimey thats a long film" however i didn't want it to end and time passed quickly. One wonders about the accuracy and what has been included or excluded so as to not offend people. erg the role played by the German authorities in the documentary "one day in September" . but i guess its not essential to the narrative. I loved some of the killing scenes esp first killing - milk/blood /homeage / Manchurian candidate. also the dutch female assassin, awesome kill - was so surreal....kill appeared so simple it was terrifying. nice texture to the film, seems like they had some stock left over from "SPRyan" . The in your face, I'm not really trying to say anything twin towers at the - well i just kept thinking "how amazing - it looks so real,how do they do that - good special effects". There's politics in here but i don't think you can make everyone happy.and its not one sided like 9/11. I feel it was presented in a fairly neutral way. except end. Eric was excellent and Lonsdale aka french godfather was superb as usual. don't usually like Eric - hated troy. Huck!!! if i were hired to advise Spielberg i would have made the following changes. 1 had one of the crew / mos sad agents be a female. 2 make Daniel Craig's character more sophisticated - 3shown agents being more intelligent - erg like fox in day of jackal 4develop the CIA role in London, that was interesting 5 have the film end with one of those nowhere to hide lines like that from "three days of condor" 6 got Catherine zeta Jones in there as a welsh counter agent. because shes cute. 7 shown elements of racism on both sides

Oh dear god. I am terrified of what there going to do to this book. I feel this story would make a wonderful film. However films today pamper to the demands for huge SFX and battle scenes and films on epic scales. Please god don't make it and Crouching Tiger ....or Rambo...remember Shogun and Richard Chamberlain. I haven't seen this film yet - have visualised it in my mind - its beautiful - A film like this should be made with the sensitivity of Shawshank Redemption - understated but powerful. Even a great film like Shawshank didn't do too well at the box office but hey its endured and is in my view one of the greatest. Up there with Coppolas godfather. Yeah they sometimes make great films from books. However to be honest i read those books after i saw the film. The director seems to come from dance and the actors action figures - - i pray there is little dance and 2 minutes action. I wonder. It will also be interesting to see how they unfold the narrative. ps anyone know how one could get a ticket for the premiere in London??? send us one please???
