Ted Lasso (2020)
This Show...
...made me belly laugh, cry happy tears, care about each character, want to pull out my hair, and be a better person. This is a rare gem, BIG HEART show about challenge, kindness, perseverence, growth, redemption, forgiveness, etc. Without being preachy. The casting, acting, writing, direction, music, set design, graphics, costume design all take part in the success of this show. If you want a different perspective; if you want to watch something uplifting, watch this show. We just finished the 3rd "Season" Finale and I want more. If you don't have it, it's worth subscribing to Apple+...not an ad, really!
Aladdin (1990)
What?
No Chinese or Middle Eastern actors were used to depict the Chinese and Middle Eastern characters in this movie. I guess the basis of the story of Aladdin is somewhat confusing, which translates to this confused production.
It is embarrassing to watch, especially, the casting of Aladdin, Mrs. Chang, Princess Mei Ling, and Fatima. I mean no slight to the actors, I think they would be fine in other roles. Sorry for leaving anyone out.
For your sanity, I suggest only watching the Riff Trax version of this flick as having people watching this show along with you, while making fun of it, is comforting.
The Munsters (2022)
Feast for the Eyes
I GET IT. It is a silly movie and the original Munsters was a silly show. I love the camp! There is so much to appreciate. Rob Zombie has added his own touch to the characters' quirks while keeping the personalities' key characteristics honoring the nostalgia of the original. Additionally, he provided the Munster family with an imaginative back story. There is so much eye candy in the set design, lighting, costume design, props, and artwork! Bats, crickets, organ music, If you saw this once or are about to view it...look for all the imaginative ways, they handled location, conveyed emotion, handled transitions, and for all the artistic elements.
Luck (2022)
Loved it
This was beautifully done. High quality animation, sound and artwork, relatable/lovable characters, a star cast. Good meaning in the imaginative story line. I don't see why someone wouldn't enjoy this movie.
Ms. Marvel (2022)
Beautifully Done
This show is so well done. Cinematography, artwork and animation, amazing back story, acting, music, and cultural element. I am shocked by some of these reviews. Nothing but quality here!

Appreciation for a Good Bad Campy Spoof
I love a campy horror movie/spoof that doesn't take itself seriously. A good, bad ramen movie with character actor Jeffrey Tambor. Homages to Jaws, Creature from the Black Lagoon, The Werewolf, Dracula, Twilight Zone, etc. 1981 movie with that period's low budget effects... humorous product placement (Count Chocula cereal). Film and stage buffs/majors may be interested in the bios in some of the supporting cast.
