This is a very enjoyable Christmas movie. Not the stuff of legends but still enjoyable.

The two main actors are good, but the thing that won me over was the rest of the cast. Brilliant and funny! They were responsible for the best laughs and the (almost) tears. Especially the grandparents, the housekeeper and both of the dads!

I used to reeeaaally dislike Alex Jennings and Harriet Walter, due to some of their previous roles as not-so-nice characters (I know, it's just acting but the roles had an effect on me. Kinda like Ron Perlman! I consider him to be pure evil :D). Nonetheless both of them (Jennings & Walter) were amazing in this film and so endearing.

I was and still am a die hard fan of the original Roswell. It was THE show of my teen years, combining all the lovey dovey stuff and scifi. That said, this show 100% surprised me. Originally I wasn't going to watch this but I was just too intrigued. I honestly started watching this with SO MUCH resentment. "No one can top the OG show!!!". After a couple of episodes I was hooked. Really hooked. This show is so different from the OG Roswell and that's what makes it great! They're both amazing shows in their own way. In this one I particularly like the fact that the characters are no longer high schoolers, but adults. The plot is very interesting, actors amazing and just all in all a great show.

Kind of feels like OG Roswell was made for my age group, we were teenagers when that show came out and now this one comes out when we're adults. It makes it that more relatable. Minus the alien stuff obviously ;)
