The Human Condition!
24 January 2020
The movie, 1917, is a fine example of both the art and craft of film making. Human tragedy is part all life and will always remain so. Although we always know how things will turn out, we return over and over to tragic stories.

Mary, Queen of Scot's is a dour look at a cold and dreary time.

Be sure and read a review of this period in English history to prepare for the religious conflicts almost too complicated to understand. The movie is totally engrossing with a little background. The actors are wonderful, and the scenery sublime.

A real loser

A small loser. In spite of a magnificent musical score. This film wastes much talent and should not have been made.

Powerful

I thought this was yet another first class look at the Holocaust. The cast did a better than average job.

I loved it

I liked this movie. It is short and sweet. The stars are wonderful. The screenplay is very zippy. I stayed awake throughout. This is totally engrossing.

Great Movie

This is a wonderful story about about a splendid American. It gives meaning to the phrase "A nation of laws". For those who do not know much about Ruth Bader Ginsberg, she has contributed much to our system. Take 2 hours to enjoy learning why documentary films provide so much that we need to know about contemporary America. This a gem. Don't miss it.

Excellent Entry in a Difficult Genre
12 March 2018
I thought Red Sparrow was an excellent film. It called for just enough suspension of disbelief to be real. Two more based on this series should grow into a wonderful trilogy.
