Fightworld (2018)
Excellent, I've learned a lot from this
Frank really adapts and bonds with the fighters on his journey around the world. I love his compassion and empathy with them. Really, really interesting all the different fighting styles and incredibly the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. I loved this series.
I'd rather fly a kite
than go out for a fight
when you go out for the night
If you find some hassle
avoid the tassel
Black or white just keep it light
Yeah, given the option I'd take the flight
to get home safe, you got that right!
Take my advice with your chicken fried rice
Just relax and enjoy your bite!
Hope you like the rap, guys.
Better Call Saul: Waterworks (2022)
Be warned, If you didn't like the last few, don't bother with this....
Before you watch this, if you think the last few episodes were bad and hit rock bottom, this one has gone completely underground. Please, don't bother with it, it will depress you to the core.
I used to watch this for the rascal that used to duck and dive and give us all a chuckle while he was doing it. Both Jimmy and Kim are completely different characters now. Kim has become pretty much a manic depressive, Trust me, I know what that's like. I used to watch BCS for a bit of escapism from the crap we call life. Christ, that scene on the bus was damn painful to watch and went on for far too long. That's not the Kim we know and love. Jimmy has turned into a nasty piece of work. He was going to knock that poor old boy senseless for Gods sake and when he was wrapping the cord around his hands as if preparing to throttle the old girl I nearly freakin cried. Who wrote this??
Another rater said they won't be watching the last one and the same thought went through my head. What's the point? I'd rather remember it the way it was.
The Ledge (2022)
Terrific little film
I thought this was a pretty good watch. Kept me gripped. Good acting and likeable, believable characters. Didn't know any of the actors and sometimes I think that makes it all the more enjoyable.
Keep Breathing (2022)
Started off so promising....
I don't really know what I was expecting to happen but I didn't expect it to be this gloomy. Initially, as someone else said, it looked like it was going to really good but like her it slid down a hole pretty damn sharpish. Just what we need in these days of doom and gloom, more doom and gloom on the telly. I didn't even bother watching the last one, it was pretty obvious what was going to happen.
Better Call Saul: Nippy (2022)
I loved series 1 thru 5
But I am seriously trying to get my head around series 6. This episode was pointless and tiresome. My God, this program has taken a catastrophic nosedive. I see people are still rating it incredibly highly; I'm not!
The Lazarus Project: Episode #1.8 (2022)
Superb series, but.....
I think they've kinda gone a bit bonkers with the storyline. I can't see there being another series; it's gotten too complex and there are now too many loose threads and too many characters that know the time travel deal. Why on Earth have they brought his girlfriend into it for gawd's sake? I really think they oughta vet prospective agents a little bit more before inviting 'em in. Christ, before we know it everyone and his best mate and girlfriends dog will be jumping around changing the course of history. 'Part from that I really, really enjoyed it.
Messiah: The Wages of Sin (2020)
Not a disappointing ending...
This bloke is so damn cool. Christ, imagine being able to take things in your stride like that and not let things get to you. Excellent face, definitely chose the right bloke for the part.
Outside the Wire (2021)
A superb sci fi war movie
I really enjoyed this. What a great twist! The acting is excellent and not one bad character. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Will def watch this one again.
The Lazarus Project: Episode #1.7 (2022)
It just keeps getting better....
This is like a marmite show; you either really like it or you don't. I speak to people at work and look at them so quizzically when they say they can't get into it and excitably chat with what has happened with those who love it. To me, this is the best thing on telly for a very long time. Excellent cast; I can't fault any of them, storyline is gripping and has my jaw dropping at the end of every episode. I've got one more to watch and my god I'll be sorry to see the back of it.
Better Call Saul: Point and Shoot (2022)
It was good, but....
....not brilliant. Over the course of weeks, left on such a superb cliffhanger, I was expecting a bit more. Also, best watched in a dark room. It's all shot at night.
The Lazarus Project: Episode #1.6 (2022)
Speechless....
I was on the edge of my seat for the entire episode. Best thing on telly for as long as I can remember. So wanted to watch the last two episodes but I want to savour this excellent series.
Messiah: The Finger of God (2020)
Engrossing
They definitely picked the right man for the part. I've only seen 3 episodes and I'm hooked. He's convinced me, for sure. As others have mentioned, the effects are outstanding. That tornado, especially on my 55", looks frighteningly real. Great acting. All in all well worth watching.
The Lazarus Project (2022)
Addictive stuff
Been trying to stick to one episode a week but best I can manage is two. So want to watch em all right off it's that exciting. Excellent actors, acting and music. Truly 10 out of 10 for me.
Your Honor: Part One (2020)
Cranston doesn't disappoint
I was gripped from minute one. So touched by the love and support the judge showed his son. Well filmed and all put together, slowly but surely this will all come to a head, for sure. Enjoying, and relishing, every minute of it.
