Betaal: The Tunnel (2020)
Good Initiative with this Concept!...But...
Everything started off great with the cinematics.
But everything started to fall down hill from there, considering them giving calls like "formation" when no one was going in formation. After their first wave went in to rescue the workers, the visuals of the night vision was off putting. Then when the injured came out, the others were asking them what happened in there, even though it is necessary for them to know what happened any army member would apply first aid to the injured. When Sirohi and the Cocky Haq go in to get any survivors they were just roaming in there like some untrained soldiers. Then comes while rescuing Ms Tyagi, never seen a sloppy attempt to save somebody, their back turned towards the enemy, no falling back retaliation. While all this was happening, the formation outside was to just stand where ever they were and aim their gun, how sloppy unorganised could it get. They have 'two' injured army members outside so far, and still their priority is to find more survivors with 4 civilians with them, this made them look like worser than untrained mercenaries. While Sirohi comes out with injured Haq, and Ms Tyagi, his commands are "Run". Then goes on ahead to keep the civilians in an unprotected position the whole time. This might be a good concept but doesn't have the grip over anything shown.
Wolf Mountain (2022)
How to waste your time 101
This movie was shot just like some youtuber's video. The whole movie was unpleasant, the acting of these actors were bland.
The part where they showed their parents fall of the cliff is a must watch, they carried it out so perfectly. The plot twist they gave was so cliché and stupid. And the killer each time got distracted by lamest of the lamest things. The scene where the killer gets killed with holding his knife and slowing strafing towards his brother like they weren't seeing him at all was flipping hilarious.
This movie had one of the worst directing in all aspects, even as to cut scenes in most of the parts of the movie if noticed.
