Captain Marvel (2019)
Not Marvel's best.
Samuel L. Jackson was the best part of this movie. Don't get me wrong, Brie Larson was okay, but she didn't sell the role all too well. It felt like I was watching Brie Larson pretending to be an alien half the time that she was on earth. She gets much better near the end, though. I see people complaining that She's OP, and to some extent, yeah. I agree. But Captain Marvel/Miss Marvel has always been that powerful in the comics. The girl took a nuke to the face, for god's sake. They got the origin of how she got her powers just about right. But overall the film can stretch on at points, and there were a lot of jokes that made me wince.
Like I said at the start, Nick Fury was the best part of this movie. Sam L. Jackson sells the role like he always does, perfectly charismatic and on point to what they were going for. My only complaint is that he changes a ton between this movie and the next in the timeline, but you know what? It's good enough.
It's been a while since I've seen Captain America and Avengers 1, but if I remember correctly, SHIELD found the Tesseract at the bottom of the ocean? Correct me if I'm wrong here but if I'm not, then this movie has a huge retcon.
Overall, I give it a 6/10. Not Marvel's best, but still enjoyable and fun, as all Marvel Movies tend to be.
Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018)
Decent.
I went in to Ant-Man and the Wasp expecting a decently put together, good looking, yet somewhat below average movie, I got exactly what I was thinking. While the environments in some areas were amazing and looked great, others disappointed and looked half-decent. The writing was okay, I'd rank it as "Below-average Marvel movie." The jokes were predictable and somewhat flat, but it didn't disappoint in the action category, which is really what you expect in a marvel movie. All in all, I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't call it a fantastic movie. It was a fun ride with very little substance.
Justice League (2017)
Embarrassing.
This movie is one of the most expensive of all time. It should at least look DECENT. but it doesn't. it looks like a cheaply made early 2000s movie. not a 300 MILLION dollar film.
Hot Wheels Acceleracers the Ultimate Race (2005)
10/10
Now, when I say 10/10, I don't mean that as it's a flawless movie. it's definitely full of flaws. but for what it tries to be, and the enjoy-ability factor, it's absolutely the cream of the crop. This is the best movie in the series, and I recommend that anyone who is curious should seriously check it out.
