Lego Masters (2020)
It's great...but!!
I love Lego Masters. Its a great show, and the contestants are excellent. The builds are out of this world.
Usually, a reality TV show chassis contestants that can have catty people, but not Lego Masters. People generally care for and want other ls on they are competing against to win.
However, I gave this show a 6 out of 10. Nothing at all to with the show, but because of Will Arnett.
Will is just so annoying. He seems to forget its not about about him, but about the competitors. He spends too much time acting foolish and not at all funny. America should take a leaf out of the Australian version. Now that host is hilarious, without being an idiot.
Porridge (2017)
2 minutes was way too much
I've seen 2 minutes of this pathetic remake. Why oh why would anybody want to make a remake of the wonderful Porridge with the late great Ronnie Barker. His comedy timing was impeccable.
As for this rubbish, you certainly can't call it comedy, the timings were late and it certainly was not impeccable.
I've just wasted 2 minutes of my life and BBC I'll forgive you!!!!!!
Alita: Battle Angel (2019)
Meh!
Everybody seems to think this movie was great, but I thought it was meh!
It was slow, dull and the effects aren't that great neither.
His Dark Materials (2019)
His Drab Material
What a load of boring drivel! The story is utter rubbish. Plus their isn't one single character in the entire show that is likeable and yes that includes Lyra. His Dark Material should be called His Drab Material.
Red Dwarf: Fathers & Suns (2012)
Red Dwarf classic as only Red Dwarf can do
This episode is pure perfection. Dave Lister gives parental advice to his son Dave Lister. Nobody else could pull this humour off, but Craig Charles completely nails it.
Interestingly only Red Dwarf could pull this type of humour off. It's hysterically funny without being ridiculously stupid.
The boys from the Dwarf certainly prove they are back, and they are as funny as ever.
Trollhunters (2016)
An excellent all age show
Trollhunters is advertised as a 7+ cartoon. Er, I don't think so! Yeah there might be a few childish moments in the show, but actually this is definitely aimed at an older audience.
I've watched all 3 parts now and I've got to say i am very, very impressed. The story line is fantastic the humour (especially from Tobes) is very funny and the action is very good. Even the voice talents are superb.
I started watching by accident and by the very first episode I was hooked. Each season has plenty of exciting action to want to keep watching. However the final season wasn't far the best of the three. The emotions it brought out were very moving. At times I forgot I was just watching a cartoon that was meant to be for kids. It's just sad that they won't be making anymore.
