Childishly stupid.
28 December 2020
I've seen many many stupid tv shows during my time but seriously a kids guessing game on Saturday night tv?!!! This makes Noel's house party with Mr Blobby look superior. Put it on CITV because that's where it belongs. Not recommended for those who actually have a life.

Thomas & Friends: Thomas and the Royal Engine (2020)
Season 24, Episode 1
9/10
For BWBA this episode was fantastic.
27 June 2020
This was a really really great way to celebrate Thomas' 75th birthday... I mean wow they really put some good effort into making this instead of making it a marketing tool like they're doing with the series now.

Micheal White is hands down the best writer since Brenner left as he knows what Thomas the tank engine is all about.

Plus the additional voice talents of Rosamund Pike and Sharon Miller (the notorious awful head writer for seasons 12-16) were really good too and Sharon showed she could do something much much better than write.

9/10

A nice adaptation but not as good as the 2 movies or the 70's series.
8 March 2020
I've been watching the series on Nick Jr and I think this new series is decently enjoyable it's good nice humour and a great impressive style of cgi animation.

However it's not as charming as the first 2 movies were or even the 1975-1980 tv series because I find this to be more aimed towards younger children than something the whole children can enjoy. But it's definitely better than shows such as Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol or the newer Thomas and Friends: BWBA series.... Overall 6/10.

Great music... stupid movie
19 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I first watched this film while being heavily into the 1980's back in 09 and thought it was decent then but now a decade has passed I notice the flaws this movie has... First off Miles is a real dick to his computer for not letting *his girlfriend see his computer and how talented it is just so he can get away with his lie by stealing the credit so she can be "impressed" with him (yeah I hate those kinds of guys) and doesn't even want to know his computers name which he doesn't reveal till the end till he decides to "kill himself". (Yeah at the end he's kind of like I'm Edgar in case you never knew.. bye... then explodes.) 2nd how the hell would Edgar whose really a phsycotic virus manage to get in other systems so easily. & 3rdly that horrible liar reaveled cliche was done far too softly I mean it should've been Madeline should've realised what a cheating lying jackass Miles was and rejected him instead of taking him with open arms telling him he's cute despite being a complete liar.

WHAT KIND OF UN EDUCATED MORON WROTE THIS!!!!!!!! However this songs Love is Love by Culture Club and Together in Electric Dreams I love a lot.

So I'd to anyone even 80's fans say avoid this crap, it's dated, boring and horribly written with terrible stupid characters but check out the great soundtrack instead.

The Grinch (2018)

Not as great as the classic 1966 cartoon but major improvement to the awful 2000 live action remake.
27 November 2018
I think my header says it all there..

1966: a classic 2000: I'm sorry but terrible, hideous and childishly un funny. 2018: really great cgi, great jokes and humour (well at least some of it) and it almost stayed true to the original. I definatley recommend giving it a watch at the cinema this festive season, but if your looking for a real festive classic then I'd say watch the 1966 cartoon. But whatever you do avoid the 2000 movie at all costs.

Paddington 2 (2017)
10/10
The best movie from 2017 and the best Paddington Bear thing yet!!!!!!
29 October 2018
I watched this movie when it came out last year and I absolutely loved it... even more than the first movie.

The humour, the story, the characters, the pacing, the jokes everything is so charming about this sequel!!!!!

Hugh Grant's villainous character is also great too I love how sneaky and disguising he is, this is definitely his best role to date alongside The Pirate captain from Aardman's The Pirates.

I especially love how Paddington can even turn cold hearted, ruthless, nasty hard criminals into good guys.. he's just such a charming character and I hope to see a 3rd movie in the near future.

A definite 10/10 from me

Best comedy show in the world
1 September 2018
Title says it all.... A great & charming British comedy still adored by generations of fans young and old and the show is still watched by millions on UKTV Gold and home media too... but I recommend buying the series on ITunes as they have all the episodes (except A Royal Flush) in there original glory and the DVDs omit and cut scenes out due to "copyright". But anyway this show deserves a perfect 10/10

A sweet nostalgic film to watch...
1 September 2018
Warning: Spoilers
This is probably my favourite movie of the Beethoven series, the humour, the cuteness, the music everything about this film is lovely. There are hilarious scenes including George and the paper boy, Floyd getting the tree on his head, George trying to explain where babies come from to Emily and going into confusing detail and even the opening when Beethoven dreams of getting a massive steak, plus I love the song The Day I Fell in Love by Dolly Parton and James Ingram that's a very sweet song and should've won the oscar instead of boring Philadelphia by Bruce Springsteen. But if there were any negative points about the movie I'd have to say the villains were kinda weak and not really offering much and we never get to find out what happened with the Newton product wether it sold or flopped???? I take it sold though as by the end of the film the Newton's are all happy. But avoiding those negatives it's still a great movie and it's a shame after this the franchise only went downhill but I think it serves as a decent goodbye to the original cast.

Steve coogan at his weakest
29 August 2018
This movie was very weak... poor storyline, poor jokes, Steve and Paul just couldn't pull of many funny jokes and it's disappointing really because they're both quite talented really.

So overall I wouldn't recommend this film it's just not worth it and if your a fan of Steve Coogan stick to the Alan Partridge movie which is more funnier than this borefest.
