Snow White and the Three Stooges (1961)
Fairly enjoyable.
I have never liked the Three Stooges and would never have chosen to watch this movie but it came on after another movie I was watching and since I was busy I let it play. Since it wasn't purely a Stooges vehicle and since I love ice skating I quite enjoyed it. The DeLuxe color was a beautiful bonus.
Smash (2012)
Meh
Started out loving it. Made it through most of the first season until the character of Ellis made it impossible to continue. I may revisit it in the future and try to finish.
And, btw, who dressed Debra Messing? They should have their costume designer card revoked, somewhere Edith Head is crying.
The Mothers-In-Law (1967)
Laugh out loud funny.
I don't remember this show from my childhood but someone mentioned it was on opposite Ed Sullivan, that probably explains it.
And since I never saw it then it is all fresh to me. I've always loved Eve Arden and she doesn't disappoint here. Kay Ballard is great as always.
I really did laugh out loud.
The Grinch Musical! (2020)
So fun!
I'm not sure what the people giving it such horrid ratings and reviews were expecting. Les Mis?
You have to watch it with open mind, heart and eyes.
Enjoy the kids and the costumes and the talent. There isn't a song that is going to make the charts but they aren't awful. It's bright and bouncy and it is faithful to the story and the spirit of Seuss.
Partners in Crime (1983)
So much fun and a feast for the eyes.
This show is chock full of good dialog, engaging characters and tons of fun.
Tommy and Tuppence are equal partners with tries at one upping each other which is unique for the time period.
And the costumes! Tuppence has a fetish for hats and a wardrobe to die for. The period details are lovely as well.
