Work It (2020)
5/10
Cringey scenes, dance version of pitch perfect. But not the best audio.
7 August 2020
Some scenes were cringey, but cute. Also Inspiring.

Throughout the whole film the audio was really bothering. It's like they dubbed it. When they were talking it sounded like it was late 0.02seconds as their mouth was moving, but the sound came late. So, it wasn't perfectly in sync. Also when "Julliard" was taking it sounded like he was talking to the microphone to close. He's voice was so flat and distorted, not that clean.

The dancing wasn't bad, hip-hop and street dance.

The Hustle (I) (2019)

So baaad, so disappointed.
2 January 2020
After watching the trailer I thought it would be a great movie, similar to ocean 8 or something but less fancy. However it was a major disappointment. Anna Hathaway and Rebel Wilson, this duo would been funny but the accents that they were trying to create made the whole movie suck. The only good thing in the movie was the end when they were in London. So disappointed...

Sooo bad. Not worth watching...
25 December 2019
Weird acting , and awful dressing and makeup. The storyline is confusing an stupid. It could've been better with a better and detailed story and with younger actors. They are older than the role they played. Could've been more eventful which links to a good storyline and not unfit events that doesn't even link to the story and more normal. Lame and boring and weird.

Raising Dion (2019–2022)

Amazing!!! With a plot twist that wasn't expected!
24 December 2019
Raising Dion was soo good. It was very enjoyable despite the trailer which was making the whole series to look something else - boring. The storyline is unique and the plot twist in it, towards the end, was mind blowing. I had to take a minute to process what just happened. It was great.

Very informative. Gives a good understanding of the benefits of the plants based living.
22 November 2019
It is mainly about the benefits of the plant based diet, and for athletes or fitness/strong people. Gives a really good understanding of the benefits of a plant based meals vs. meat and dairy consumers. Worth watching it! But also films such as Cowspiracy goes through the environmental and sustainable living if a plant based diet is applied. Whereas The Game Changers does not. Showing how a meat consumer going to a plant based lifestyle will change to Earth and the environment.

Entertaining film with a research error and a weird setting combiation.
22 November 2019
The part when they went to the supermarket and he said he needed "butter, yeast and flour" to make the bread is a huge error. In the 1300s yeast was not invented, they were using sourdough for bread making. Commercial yeast was invented and used in the mid-19th century.

But in the meantime the story was entertaining and it had some funny parts of how a 14th century knight acted in the 21st century. It was sad, funny and happy.

However, when the Knight meets the old sorceress the make up and costume could have been done better. I mean that the eyebrows looked like its been glued down and painted with white. Why would you do that?

Also the setting doesn't make sense... A 1300s knight from England ends up in Ohio in AMERICA (!!?)to the 21st century. The two thing is just weird. Why did he needed to time travel 7 centuries, and to a totally different continent to find his true love?

2040 (2019)

A nice idea for the future.
6 November 2019
2040 is an inspiration film of the 21st century. The film is there for young people to be inspired to do good now and to have a better more cleaner future. The documentary addresses solutions of how can we act and what can we do to do good to help the planet. These include: changing your browser to Ecosia, eating less meat, sustainable farming, switching cars to electric, less traffic because of self driving car. The film shows an ideal idea of the better future but how can we accomplish it? With young people whom start acting now! Sadly there are some ignorant people in the older generation who does not want to make the future a better place they just want to make money. 2040 makes you change your mind and encourages you to start acting to make good.

The listed ideal ideas makes 2019 to look bad because of how far the Earth has come and people are still doing so little and the governments even worse. 2040 is 21 years away, and I think the people of the Earth will accomplish something that will have a great impact to improve Earth and reduce climate change , unfortunately by the year 2070. And not anytime soon. As the younger people who are acting now will be teaching their children how to care for nature and the earth and with that knowledge things will be changing and industries too. Because younger people passed on their knowledge to others and that moved on to everyone so in the far future everyone cares and not just the younger generation.

Santa Girl (2019)
5/10
Original storyline but could be better with the filming.
1 November 2019
  • The camerawork at the beginning was a bit wonky and unprofessional and somewhat throughout the film. And also the colour grading could have been better in some places especially the beginning.
  • The storyline is original and great!
Not a typical x-mas story! There is a twist but somewhat it is predictable.
  • The acting was unprofessional and somewhat over exaggerated especially from the elf - Pep. But the other characters were good for a low-key x-mas movie.
  • Also shout-out to those retail workers who have an experience with complaining customer like that coffeeshop girl, or the bookshop girl.
