Super interesting but really tough to watch
30 January 2021
Wow. I vaguely remember this in the news and I had no idea of the details of this bonkers case. It's really fascinating but super tough to watch. I couldn't get all the way through it.

Incredibly creepy.... incredibly sad
19 February 2020
This is probably the best thing on HBO right now. Also, this is the best Stephen King adaptation I've seen. To me, it's better than the It adaption. Jason Bateman is incredible in dramas and he's also an amazing director. Also Paul Mendelsohn is excellent!! I first saw him in Animal Kingdom which was another excellent film with an excellent cast.

Cancellation :(
6 November 2019
I am sad this was cancelled... Killian Scott and Logan Marshall Green are excellent and the storyline is quite interesting. But really, I'm impressed with Killian and his ability to play Seth Davenport since the only thing I've seen him in is the very Irish, but very good, show Love/Hate.

Hmmm

Soooo... They got a guy to play exactly Ryan Gosling, but he isn't Ryan Gosling so...I feel like this story is kinda recycled 😑 And yes. The dialog is like pulling teeth, but the cinematography is beautiful.

It's just sandwiches there!

This one I could watch over and over again. First Steve sings so you know it's going to be a good one, and he doesn't disappoint :) Secondly, the storyline is pretty touching but it doesn't get too sappy or preachy. The ending is sweet too. But there are still some silly and clever scenes that I laughed out loud at. American dad is consistently trying new things and writing funny original stuff. This episode is one of them.

I love this film
6 October 2019
I saw this film in theatre when it came out and I really liked it. The movie is a great 90s "modern" adaption of the classic with its own spin. It's funny at times but also pretty gory. I recently just rewatched this film in 2019 and I have to say, it still holds up and the graphics and special effects (when they turn into werewolves) are pretty great. Also the soundtrack is awesome. AHH something about 90s teen flicks, you can't beat it. I remember seeing Bush's Mouth music video and it featured this film.

Welcome Nighthawks..
19 September 2019
This episode has all the elements that make American Dad so great. It's weird, strange, funny and a bit creepy. This entire season actually, has been pretty excellent. I don't think people give American Dad enough credit and viewership but since the beginning, AD has consistently put out great episodes. Love this show!

Pleasantly surprised

Anything Eli Roth horror related can be a bit over the top for me. With the extreme violence and gore. This movie though, was just enough. Probably one of the best haunted house films in a long while. This film definitely deserves an Oct theatrical release!

Pretty terrible

Do you remember that fake trailer at the beginning of Tropic Thunder where Jack Black plays like 6 different characters in a fat suit, called "The Fatties, Fart 2". Yeah. This movie is basically that fake movie :(

Season 2
18 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The best parts of season 2 were definitely the scenes where Bill and Holdon (and Dr. Carr and Gregg) go and interview the serial killers in jail. They brought to life much needed pulse to the episodes. Everyone of the actors portraying them were SPOT ON! Especially Oliver Cooper as Son of Sam and my dude Damon Herriman as Charles Manson. Damon as Manson was SOOOO eerie. Wow. His appearance and mannerisms gave me chills. Give that dude an Emmy!!! But other than that, season 2 was a little slow and..I don't know, I really don't like Jonathan Groff as Holden Ford for some reason. He comes off as pretty annoying (And.. they went no where with the panic attack bit, but maybe they'll touch base on it in the 3rd season). The show was enjoyable to watch but I was way more into watching the few mins of interaction with the serial killers than watching Holdon and Bill trying to figure out how to get Wayne Williams. And also, urghhhh the ending was abit anti-climatic and underwhelming.

90210HHH MY GOD!!!
16 August 2019
Growing up watching 90210, I was very very emotionally invested in the show and entire cast. (I love Shannon!!) Everything from their fights to.. storylines..to even the song select for the episodes. The show really resonated with me as a teenager. But as an adult re-watching those episodes it was almost cringe-worthy... And then now with the reboot.. I am once again, absolutely, very much emotionally invested!!! The feels is strong! And it's not just like nostalgia... it's a feeling of once again relating to and caring for a group of people you spent so much time watching on television all those years ago. Sooo good, I'm hooked. The only thing that would have made this show any better is if Luke was alive.

One of my favourite Korean films
1 August 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This is one of my favourite Korean films of any genre. And probably one of the best Korean thrillers since Memories of Murder. The ending scene when he's walking away hysterically crying... Urgh. Byung-hun Lee character arch... Brilliant.

Why?!
1 August 2019
If you start watching the series knowing nothing about the book....then maybe this will be watchable for you and you'll enjoy it. But if you've read the book... Yikes! I cannot relate to this version of Vic. She's suppose to be this loner artsy, comes from the wrong side of the tracks stereotype, that makes me cringe. And guess what she comes from a broken home with an alcoholic abusive dad and she just wants to get into art school... Yawn. But also the actress playing her looks wayyyyyy older. There's a scene in the first episode where she's at this party with these other high schoolers, who actually look 18, and I'm like no wayyyyyy. Also I think Zach Quinto is a great actor but when he's in anything horror, I'm just like... Why?! I really didn't like him in American Horror Story and I don't like him in this either. But with that being said he's the best thing about the show :((((

FANTASTIC!!

Why was this show freaking cancelled?!!! Urgghhhh!!! It's a shame becos the style and story telling of this show was truly unique and original. The first opening scene was fantastic.. and by the end of episode 8, I was left waiting and hoping for some answers. Urghhh! But alas, none. I'm still sad about it. I NEED MORE OF MAC AND BUDDY!!

17 July 2019
It's been 15 years since this show and I'm still devastated about this cancellation. Season 3 would have been epic, I mean with how season 2 ended! Sigh...With all the reboots I can only cross my fingers about having this show come back but sadly it won't ever happen. Watch it.. and then have your heart break cos there will never be closure. :(

WATCH THIS FILM!
20 October 2018
Wow. I cannot believe there wasn't more hype for this film, maybe due to the fact that Logan Marshall- Green kinda looks like Tom Hardy and this film is kinda Venom-isk, but wayyyyyyyyyyyy darker, more violent and 10x better. It did come out the summer right before Venom came out, so maybe that's why it was severely overshadowed. But I absolutely loved it. The film also kinda reminded me of all the best parts of the Matrix when it came to the fight scenes while still holding it's own style of fighting choreography. Plus it only clocks in at about 1h 30ish. Perfect. For the most part everything I've seen of Logan Marshall Green in, whether it be his films or some of his short lived telly shows (Quarry- uhhhh I'm still upset that never got picked up for a second season!!!!.... Damnation) I've thoroughly enjoyed him, I think he's brilliant and in this film he's excellent as Grey.
