Inventing Anna: Too Rich for Her Blood (2022)
TOTALLY UNREAL
The young Anna and her father, despite being Russian, speak perfect English to each other but when the father is later interviewed by the American journalist he needs an interpreter? The dialogues among all characters in this episode are totally far-fetched, let alone the various national stereotypes who are spread out here and there. This episode is just a filler before the finale. Very boring and badly acted.
Tidying Up with Marie Kondo: Making Room for Baby (2019)
Dogs in a cage, really? Will they put their newborn in a cage too?
I agree with most of the reviews here. Couldn't care less about this couple and the tidying when I saw the two dogs in a cage the whole time, that's pure animal cruelty! Couldn't watch it till the end, it made me sick

Us (2019)
It doesn't live up to the hype
I was looking forward to seeing this film as the previous one by the same director was good. But what a disappointment to see it was full of cliches and so predictable! The suspenseful moments were actually comic or boring rather than scary. Not even the twist in the end saved this film from its banality.
The doppelgänger subject was a good idea but it could have gone so many ways, instead the writer chose the most predictable path: chasings and killings, duh! Seen it already a billion times in the classic horror movies, nothing new or exciting there.
22 July (2018)
Disapponting
I was expecting to see a more accurate account of these tragic events, but it was a let down to see all the Norwegian actors speak in a very unnatural English! The dialogues were also bad and that took away the realistic feel, I do not recommend it. Very basic and unmoving representation of what happened.
Jenin, Jenin (2003)
Powerful and shocking
I've just seen this movie in a public viewing with the director. Disheartning to see that it got such a low score and some viewers find it unrealistic. If it's a lie why did Israel ban this film and persecute its author? Isn't it supposed to be a democratic country? Only on paper I'm afraid. It's about time Israel takes responsibility for its military occupation of Palestine and for its WAR CRIMES instead of shouting antisemitism every time someone dares criticizing their politics.
I'm amazed at the courage of the Palestine people, among all the destruction they still manage to send out a message of hope.
Totally recommend this documentary but keep an open mind!
