Fleabag (2016)
Flawless and a Forever Impact
The writing, the filming, the editing, the acting.
There will never ever be something as brilliant as Fleabag.
-----
I don't have enough words, literally, the review needs to be 600 words
But it's such a good show it literally doesn't need any words.
This series - when you really look into it - will and should leave you breathless.
The first episode of season 2 - 20 something minutes of a restaurant conversation. And we were hooked the entire time.
I can't enough with this show -
I need 101 characters more to pose this. I loved this show enough to write a mini essay.
It's quirky, comedic, but has so much depth.
Under the Tuscan Sun (2003)
Meredith and Christina
If Meredith and Christina had their own movie and if it was in Tuscany.
This would be that movie.
Tenet (2020)
Not Worth Your Time
Poor story telling with no immersive experience or feeling.
The volume was an odd choice that consistently overpowered the dialogue -
The graphics were interesting and while the idea has so much potential it was poorly executed.
For myself, this is not a movie I found myself engaged by. Although, it was thought provoking.
Erin Brockovich (2000)
Inspiring.
Love this movie.
Incredibly inspiring especially because it's based on a true story.
Their are a couple of times where I questioned certain film aspects that seemed out of tune from the rest of the movie (and feel very that time)
Ex. When Julia was driving home and gripping the wheel. When the man found out his wife had cancer and was screaming in a field
Also not a biiiig fan of the yellow green colour tone
BUT fantastic story, script, and actors.
Derry Girls (2018)
Absolutely Hilarious and Thoughtful
Absolutely hilarious with incredible writing and great characters.
With easy 20 minute episodes - it's an easy two day binge that keeps you smiling.
While funny this show gives you a glimpse into Ireland - it's life and culture.
Amazing with no regrets
(I may have to watch a few times to catch the accent or put on captions)
