Dominion (2018)
Trust me , there is the ultimate TRUTH every human should face and know
HBO's original series Westworldwas my favorite in 2017 and the most memorable quote is ----One man's life or death is but a small price for the dominion I should acquire" by Mary Shelley's "Frankenstei.
Then last year I watched Boog-Joon Ho 's Okja which led me to think one step forward about the greed of mankind and what choices we have to make as to be the kind of person we wish for.
Two months ago, Dominion was streamed on my laptop and I had to pause more than a dozen of times to cope with the shock, sadness and anger. The explicit of the footage is overwhelmingly powerful and felt like a 100-ton punch on my heart.
One elderly I respected once told me: Ignorance is not a sin, it is sometimes a bliss for modern consumers. I used to see the sense of such saying.
Now I choose to learn about the painful truth, hear the scream for the help and look into those animals' eyes. A pig's eye, a goat's eye, a cow's eye, a new-born chick's eye, which was shown in the documentary with a close-up image.
Then there is no turning back. It's time for a CHANGE for myself and I believe it is going to re-shape my life profoundly.
Try read the last sentence out loud to yourself and put yourself in the mind of a caged , bullied, drugged, inseminated, stuffed with anti-biotics, bitten by electric shocker and forced to watch your peers been shot by bullet, cut open by blades, FOR ONE MINUTE. You will know what traumatic lives HUMAN have exploited to over 100 Billion animals every year.....
"The sadness I feel looking into cages is nothing compared to what it must feel like looking out."
A Plastic Ocean (2016)
Impeccable ! Must watch for everyone who wishes a clean place to live.
We through we knew the solution to the single-use plastic items?Wrong.
We thought we have a lot more time and spaces to deal with plastic products?Wrong.
We though maybe it is only a few turtles, seabirds that are affected so far by the plastic?Wrong.
This is a film that change your perspectives of where, when and how we human being have left to deal with the worst invention of 20th century-plastic.
Heart-breaking facts, life-devoting scientists, passionate environmental fighters, There is still HOPE.
Watch this ENTIRE film, don't just skip the title, and say, I already knew....
Craig Leeson has done an amazing job and I wish this film can be added to all classroom in U.S , China, Philippine, U.K, .....
