20 Days in Mariupol (2023)
This is so hard to rate!
I feel like rating it I approve horror happening to this people.
And it was really hard to watch, even this is just first 20 days of current almost 2 years of this war going on. I doubt Ill get any sleep tonight, this is not for those of weak heart! Im kid from war so I lived all of this when Serbia was trying to claim our country and make us run from our own homes. I know that smell of wet and dirty shelters, no power, no light, no air and no sun for months. I never missed my bed and clean sheets so much. That fear of walking under the clear sky. That horror running thru your spine on any airplane sound, any shelling you pray it won't hit nowhere near.
It make me think of all people we saw alive, did they made it out of Mariupol alive, does those kids manage to grow at some place safe as kids should, what horrors their eyes saw once russians enter their city, their shelters, their homes and cameras left. God I hope they live, even if they live in delusion that Ukraine attack them, if that help them to stay sane, safe and alive...so be it. They will know truth anyway, sooner or later. I am in pure sadness and impression right now after this documentary, and seeing what they left behind in Bucha I feel so disturbed thinking what is left under the rubbles of Mariupol, what war crimes we will hear about once war is over. I truly hope Ukraine will get their territory back, all of it. And Russia to fall apart, as it should long time ago, to let those countries and their citizens grow and thrive in freedom and hopefully democracy. And of course, one day that we watch documentary how Putin was assassinated from his own people and how that was end of Russia and their manipulations and brainwashing of russians. They will have looooong road in front of them to recover and become healthy human beings one day, hopefully.
I hope more of movies will be found, more of truth and witnesses found alive so Ukraine can write history and document all of it, this should not be forgotten.
The Ringleader: The Case of the Bling Ring (2023)
Informative
I read other reviews and I must comment how I see this kind of documentaries. I start watch it just cos I have teen I want to understand better. Luckly mine is not obsessed with celebrities or stuff, but its good to know. Its good to watch for anyone who like to understand others, where things come from for others, why someone is they way it is, what make them change etc. I dont think its meant to praise anyone, but it is super learning tool for anyone who study human heads or wish to understand human behavior better. I feel empathy for this girl, I think she still have a lot to learn, but life is learning path and everyday we learn something new till we live, its important to have will to do better every new day and never stop working on yourself. She embraced her failure and learn from it and its best thing she can do. Some of us must do it hard way, and its way better lesson then easy way. (Excuse my selftought English)
