10: Perfect in almost every way, something that I will always return to and think about.
9: Almost perfect, the only reason why it's not a 10 is that it doesn't have the thing that 10's have.
8: Something great.
7: Something decent, probably not going to think about again.
6: 1 or 2 things in here were interesting.
5: Completely mediocre, not bad but not good.
4: Pretty mediocre, but there were a few things that were poorly done.
3: Poor quality, but has 1 or 2 elements that I enjoy.
2: Poor quality in every way, no redeeming quality whatsoever.
1: Something that is not only poor in quality, but offended me in some way (not necessarily bigotry).

The Witcher (2019)
hm.
This is not a logically sound show, and I don't mean in an 'oh, but it's fantasy' kinda way. As someone who is a fan of history, it really tested my suspension of disbelief to the point of annoyance. There are many different plots going on at the same time in different places and they never feel that they're a part of the same world. I only learned through word of mouth that everything happens at different times too.
Geralt, the main character, probably works as a video game character, but is terrible as a show character. There really isn't anything compelling about him, and certainly nothing there that makes you want to root for him or follow him for 8 hours.
The visuals are pretty bad, the gore gets sterile fast, it has a lackluster and depressing colour scheme, abysmal clothing design, and naturally poor CGI.
The score is fine, but the sound design is god awful. I can't get through any scene with a drawn sword without hearing the terrible wooshing and metal on metal clanging/ringing effect along with poor tracking in the fight scenes.
I stopped after episode 3, and if you're looking for substance, this isn't the show for you.
Spinning Out (2020)
if you like indie music and hot messes, this is the show for you
Imagine every trope and cliché from every trashy teen/young adult show you've ever seen and slapped figure skating onto it, that's this show. It truly has it all, rich-white-player-boy, main sports girl who had an accident, mental health (I'm not too familiar with bipolar so I won't delve into that), racism, overbearing and abusive parents... everything. It's one mess up after another with these characters.
That's not to say it's all bad. The characters are fleshed out and everything made sense. The plot, although dramatic, was clear and was handled fairly well given everything listed above. The ending, although clearly setting up for another season was surprisingly hopeful and sweet.
The actual skating, though, was abysmal. Yes, I'm a VM and figure skating fan and this show is not really about skating. You won't see a single full program, the characters all have figure skating doubles so you don't see their faces, therefore what little you see isn't filmed very well, and some technical stuff like specific events are inaccurate to real life. It could've been any other team/pair sport. Also, it should have been ice dance, not pairs.
All in all, it's fun and trashy and if you want to see a trashy fs rpf come to screen, this is it.
Swing You Sinners! (1930)
one of the most visually impressive things I've ever seen
If you're a fan of animation, this is a must watch. The animation itself is perfect and there's so much going on with such cool designs on par with other works by Fleischer's.
The sound design is perfect with an awesome song to boot.
There isn't much story at all, but it flow seamlessly and it really doesn't need any at all.
