Do Revenge (2022)
A fun hot mess.
Will I ever rewatch? No. Was it entertaining for an afternoon? Absolutely.
Since I'm required to write more for the review to actually be published I'll go ahead and say I liked the filming style, costume choices, and acting. I thought all of it was especially good for a Netflix movie.
What I didn't like is that it is easily 15 minutes too long. There's some fluff that should have been on the cutting room floor, but maybe that's just me.
Once again, I'm never going to rewatch it, but it was great entertainment for an afternoon and that was really all I wanted out of it.
Just wasting characters now....
Disenchanted (2022)
If you loved the original, you'll love this.
Way to bring back the magic AND up the game with Maya Rudolph. The villain song is the best of the movie and very memorable, while some of the other musical numbers didn't stand out to me as much. I'll be watching it again!
Is this movie objectively good? Some people might say "no" but it does add very fun spins on original fairytale lore with a lot of Easter eggs sprinkled throughout. I enjoyed the ride that's for sure. Amy Adams absolutely crushed it, so fun to see her acting range throughout the movie! And James Marsden... what a gem. He came back ready to win everyone over all over again and it was truly magical.
Hot Rod (2007)
Cult classic.
This movie will forever live in infamy. I can't get enough of it. 10/10. Funny, refreshing, stupid as hell, and hits all the right notes for me.
Apparently my review needs to be at least 150 characters so here's another sentence.
Killing It (2022)
A mess...
Ok first off all there's no creativity with the soundtrack they use the SAME song in the back of every scene and by the end it was driving me nuts. This would've been 4/10 stars but I gave it 6/10 for the acting.
I was hoping for something exciting with good laughs but at the end none of this really made any sense and I wasn't rooting for any of the characters. So meh.
The Adam Project (2022)
Very meh.
Fun for one watch but that's pretty much it. Great nostalgia but otherwise rushed and falls flat. It made me pretty much feel nothing! I think it would be more fun to watch in a family setting with young kids on a movie night.
Game of Thrones: The Long Night (2019)
Utter garbage.
This episode has now RUINED all of GoT for me. How am I supposed to rewatch the series and take it seriously knowing this is where it leads to??? I feel bad that cast spent 55 days of blood, sweat, & tears acting out this massive pile of sh%# writing.
