Switched from thriller R movie to made-for-TV movie of the week
11 March 2007
This movie was disappointing for at least one of two reasons. The suspense created disappeared because of horrible acting or lack of direction from the director.. I don't know.. it was like a tasty bubble gum that seemed to run out of flavor yet you continue to chew on it because it once tasted great. Like most thrillers The Hitchhiker had promise yet failed to deliver when it had me bright eyed and ready to turn the volume down(I was watching the movie alone.. in the dark) This so called thriller simply came apart like it was made of Lego transforming into something else. It simply ran out of gas and left me staring at a made-for-TV-like style movie with one exception.. it was probably rated-R.

The Rocket (2005)

Ranks close 2nd to #1 hockey movie Slapshot
5 October 2006
Well done! The Rocket was a true inspiration to many and an icon in Canadian history. The NHL and Canada has changed in many ways since his playing days. This film biography inspires us to relive the past and to press forward in our own lives everyday. With a heart as large as the whole province of Quebec his courage was his most valuable asset. His passion to succeed was undeniable. The more popular he became through hockey the greater a threat he posed on the others that couldn't control him or french minorities. Yet, the legend was also a gentleman, a father and a role model for anyone who was fortunate to be in his presence. The film expresses all of this beautifully with an original feel and amazing on ice reenactments of famous games. Thanks for the film and thank you Mr. Richard.

False-flag operation that created 10th Christian Crusade
9 August 2006
Warning: Spoilers
.. remember September 11th 2001?.. who doesn't?.. that terrifying day downtown Manhattan set fire to scalding red-hot debates from New York to New Deli.. the illuminating issue most challenged-religion and why do THEY hate us? ..what did the Christian Western world do to provoke such an attack?.. this film enrages this controversy once again with "shock and awe" like scenes which abandon the audience leaving them grasping at straws questioning their own existence and security.

.. the movie only adds strength to the contention that radical Muslims will kill you and that Christians and Jewish governments should eradicate them first before they kill you.

.. the movie is about two Port Authority Officers trapped under the rubble, their misfortune the terrible grief expressed by their loved ones and their eventual rescue.
